im 17, Close to 11ft local sunshine coast reef on cyclone swell, Australia, Qld. Held under for close to a couple mins and getting smashed by the sets... 13.....biggest is 12 ft in montauk, NY during hurricane in 2010 labor day weekend...i was just amazed on the sets coming in at 15+ and i was very picky~~i went for the smallest wave out there at 12 ft.. craziest ride i ever had and that was my only ride of the day. After that i just hung out on the beach at ditch watching the pros "do their thing" foor the rest of the day DITCH PLAINS, MONTAUK<3

25.... my biggest 6ft Mawgan Porth, Cornwall. U.K. And it wiped me out, even tho it was only 6 ft, it kept me under water for what felt like AGES!!! , pulled my arms and legs all over the place, running out of breath, didnt know which way to swim for the surface.... 3rd time I ever tried surfing and it put me in my place.... i know i dont belong out back yet but my god just learning how to Surf is MEGA!!!! yeah, i surf but never done anything more than 10 foot. guess i'm not the big wave guy. but even at 10 foot, i know what your saying about the thrill... but I'm used to seeing videos of people towing into the 30-40 foot waves, or take a boat to them then ride them in, not paddling out.
