The Word is not only in the form of man or book but it is a principle, which transcends time and culture. To claim that God would use “his blood” as a cleaning mechanism for sin (which he created) is barbaric and is truly delusional as it distorts the primary message of love which Christ taught (without law).
The word for eternal is "αἰώνιον" and it used used as an adjective for both "αἰώνιον" life and "αἰώνιον" death. I encourage anyone to look for themselves using a concordanance or interliner Bible. Even if you are not a Greek scholar the whole Bible points to an eternal punishment if you don't accept Christ as you Lord and Savior. (Matthew 25:41, Luke 16:23-24, Revelation 20:10, Isaiah 53, Psalms 49:8-9, 1 John 5:11, and in many other places)
actually, I find no irony at all based on the teachings of the scriptures.The Apostles& Paul in particular set forth the clear teachings that the atoning death& resurrection of Jesus accomplished our atonement and freed those who believe from the Law of sin and death. Jesus states that those who believe have everlasting life, but those who reject Him already have the wrath of God (Jn chap 3). I would agree that is barbaric IF God created sin. Christ displayed on many occasions his ability to forgive sin (Matt 9:2), which attracted great heat from both the Pharisees and Sadducees. All bible translations have errors. One common one is translating aion to eternal etc. particularly

But in 2008 I was listening to a sermon and had a revelation- a Saviour who had taken all of that wrath and anger for my record of sins, so that now I could be reconciled with God and actually know my creator. That Saviour is Christ, of course. I believed Him for salvation and have been regenerated, I'm a new man now :)))) That's the love of God.
The problem with this world is that we don't want to accept God as He has revealed Himself to be. So we create our own constructs of God and think that will get us into Heaven. If there is a God, and he/she created humanity, why would heshe exclude anyone? what's the point. We are also told not to adulterate or mix the purity of the Gospel.To do so would so unalterably dilute it, the truth of the Love, purity, redemption, deliverance & inheritance of the Lord Jesus (who died for His elect) would become of NO good or effect as the Word of God makes clear. @shieldsff You do not find it ironic that you utilize the words Love, purity, redemption and deliverance in the same sentence as blood (atonement/wrath). The Word is not only in the form of man or book but it is a principle, which transcends time and culture. To claim that God would use “his blood” as a cleaning mechanism for sin (which he created) is barbaric and is truly delusional as it distorts the primary message of love which Christ taught (without law).

The word for eternal is "αἰώνιον" and it used used as an adjective for both "αἰώνιον" life and "αἰώνιον" death. I encourage anyone to look for themselves using a concordanance or interliner Bible. Even if you are not a Greek scholar the whole Bible points to an eternal punishment if you don't accept Christ as you Lord and Savior. (Matthew 25:41, Luke 16:23-24, Revelation 20:10, Isaiah 53, Psalms 49:8-9, 1 John 5:11, and in many other places)

actually, I find no irony at all based on the teachings of the scriptures.The Apostles& Paul in particular set forth the clear teachings that the atoning death& resurrection of Jesus accomplished our atonement and freed those who believe from the Law of sin and death. Jesus states that those who believe have everlasting life, but those who reject Him already have the wrath of God (Jn chap 3). I would agree that is barbaric IF God created sin. But He didn't-We choose sin. Christians obey the LAW

@shieldsff It is glaringly clear that the “atonement” of Christ was not needed for the remission of sin. Christ displayed on many occasions his ability to forgive sin (Matt 9:2), which attracted great heat from both the Pharisees and Sadducees. As it relates to your statement that God did not create sin, I would point you to Isah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things”

Its great to find the Lord and to realize one doesn't have to be afraid to die. When covered by His blood then with all sins forgiven from repentance to the Lord then we'll meet one day in heaven. Universal salvation, and inclusion is not right. This man is not right becuz he doesn't believe that the Bible is the enfallable word of God. These men are making up their own religion. @kkdub79 Are you living a righteous life? Are you married? Or do you live with a woman? Just wrondering, becuz when there is inclusion, anyone could sin, and not be afraid if they die in that sin. They could live the life of gay and lesbianism and not worry about dieing in that sin, becuz they believe their is no hell to speak of and the hell that Jesus was talking about will burn away any sin they committed. This is false teachings if Jesus lives on the inside of use is he a part of that?

@kkdub79 I don't condemn ppl becuz they are condemned already. Jesus said in my Fathers house is many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you. Are you in that mansion now? When Jesus was on the cross with the other two, he told the one this day shalt thou be with me in paradise. Back then paradise was in the bosoom of Abraham. And becuz the other theift didn't show remorse for his sin Jesus didn't say he would be there either, just that one man becuz he was repentant of his sins.

Jesus said, No man comes to the Father but by me. And you can't follow Jesus if men are your weakness. I know that the Bible said death to homosexauls back then but Jesus said, Grace for now. That's unfortunate since the theme of the bible absolutely matches all the way through Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John. I hope you realize by believeing in inclusion that it means in that false doctrine you will have people like Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, the Khmer Rouge who was involved with the killing fields. @kkdub If a righteous man turns from his righteousness, and commit iniqiuity, & I lay a stumblingblock be4 him, he shall die; becuz thou has not given him warning he shall die in his sin and his righteousness whichhe hath done (SHALL NOT BE REMEMBERED) but their is hope even for the both of you the pastor who said that it's ok to live in sin and you who are liveing in sin. All you have to do is turn from the sin and live right. But if you all feel that the Word is not true do you have hope?

It's easier to put it on then to take it off. God forgave me for that sin. I know that I'm not perfect I didn't say that I was, but I'm striving for that perfection. So, all I do now is Eze 3:1-2 Moreover he said unto me, Son or Daughter of man eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak to the (NET). So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. I'm not over weight from eating food I'm over weight from eating the Word of God. That's what you see, you are the one who wrote me.

If God told me that what he said in a pacticular part of his Word that he didn't say something he would tell me. Like Paul's letter to the Corinitans he said But I would that women would not usrup authority over a man. A lot of preachers say God said that when in fact Paul said that he would not God. So yes! This is the infallable Word of God.

Third, there is no hell. Even if there was, it would be translated as the grave. Simply death. Fourth, Paul was speak to the time he was in, not the 21st century. Our view of God is to EVOLVE!!! HE IS VAST!!! Grow. Fifth, word is translated CONSCIOUSNESS in Eashoa's language. The Greek screwed alot up!

@kk Listen, no matter what language the book was written in I know that it was the Hebrew language and it doesn't matter to me, if God wants me to know Hebrew he will. But since I speak in Eglish this is the language that he speaks to me in. I read in english, God will speak to someone in French, Spanish, whatever the language God will make hiimself known to ppl. This Bible is for what ever generation that reads it. Not everything such as animal sacirifices as Jesus did that one blood sacirifice

When the church adopted the idea judgment was punitive instead of corrective as the followers of Christ believed the pagan hell was easily adopted particularly since rulers such as Constantine who had pagan backgrounds became converts & mandated their entire kingdoms convert the Christianity.
Haven't you ever wondered why sometimes the Hebrew and Greek words translated hell are just as often translated the grave?

@Zacman1957 This is not truth, he didn't stand up for the truth, he lost the truth when he said, he didn't believe the Bible was the infallable word of God. And believed it to be written by mere men. So how would you get truth fom this? He did'nt only risk his career he risked his soul. God himself said hell is real. And that men are teaching a great false hood. Telling ppl that there is no hell is not love. It's a false love to get ppl on their side. Inclusion is no where in the Bible.

The bible is a translation of God's inspired word. Just how much of that Carlton believes I don't know.
All bible translations have errors. One common one is translating aion to eternal etc. particularly
in reference to judgment. Another is translating Sheol and Hades Hell about half the time instead of the grave. Every knee will box and confess Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father. God will be all in all Ph 4:2

But Zacman, if you don't use Hell, you cant properly induce fear.LOL.. (Sarcasm of course) -- I am studying Aramaic and it amazes how many mistranslations and add-ons by the Greeks are in the Bible. I find it hard to take "christians" seriously now. Few even want to question their teachers. It's crazy! God is All Love and Wrathful? What kind of bull? I dismissed Christianity, but after learning Aramaic I have fallen in Love again. It really lines up with Buddhism and the Tao.

This is just like the atheist they say there is no God, it will not make God disappear, he is still God whether you believe it or not and hell is still hell whether you believe it or not. I don't understand why you think Christianity lines up with buddhism? And what is tao? Another religion? Just becuz some of the things they say in budda book doesn't mean they got it from God.

@kkdub79 Now what does Budda say about hell? Does he exclude hell all together? Then he is wrong if the budda book was written before Christ does he say God gave him these words? Or if he wrote this after Christ then he got it from the scrolls. God didn't give the Word out of context to someone that is not a Jew. Now, he did give Luke the knowledge to write what other Jews told him about Christ, as Luke was not a Jew. If they don't preach hell they are lieing to the ppl.

The only Christ we're given is the Christ of the Bible, so if you don't believe that it is infallible then maybe you should question the Christ you believe. Can you not hear what they are saying in this video??? 'God is the evolutionary impulse that governs the universe.' What? 'Spiritual evolution' is a deceitful doctrine. They talk here about stagnating religion...they don't believe in the Christ, the one and only Son of God, in Whom ALONE is eternal life. PLEASE don't be deceived man.

@ I didn't once hear them say that they didn't believe in Christ!! Not once!! What I heard them say is fear based religion stops you from growing which has been true for me through experience!!! People come to God in fear of eternal damnation and burning in HELL!! Which is how we are taught to interpret the bible. What BEING, ENTITY of otherwise would want to be loved only for fear of wrath. That is absolutely CONDITIONAL LOVE!!!

@MsPeaceism Religion for the most part explains things in a literal sense but if we open our minds a little we could possibly see the bible as a story of EVOLUTION!! In the end the Christ conciousness saved the souls of mankind. Christ represented pure unconditional love which was and is "The Way". I am sure you will agree with that.

@MsPeaceism You're totally right. That's the view I had of God & The Bible growing up in church. But in 2008 I was listening to a sermon and had a revelation- a Saviour who had taken all of that wrath and anger for my record of sins, so that now I could be reconciled with God and actually know my creator. That Saviour is Christ, of course. I believed Him for salvation and have been regenerated, I'm a new man now :)))) That's the love of God.

The problem with this world is that we don't want to accept God as He has revealed Himself to be. So we create our own constructs of God and think that will get us into Heaven. Man, I pray for this world....God is Who He is. No man can understand Him because He says, 'My ways are not your ways, and My thoughts are not your thoughts.'

@UnrealHelix hate to break it to you friend, but religion is no different. religion constructs ideas about God that are all ultimately based on human ideas and human writings (I know the bible was supposedly inspired but its still filtered and penned by fallible humans, like it or not). People should reconsider their ideas about God rather than just blasting every opposing idea as "making God in their own image" or something
