Katheryn Howard is my favourite of all of Henry's queens. I think it's because I can relate to her. I'm 17 now and it's assumed that this was the age at which she got married to the 40+ year old Henry. Pretty scary actually! Her story really takes me and then she had such an awful ending. I wish I could have met her. 400+ years too late!
@LadyAnneBoleyn1536 you do realise she cheated not only on her husband but the king. in those times decapitation was fairly kind. atleast its a quick end. she married him and she still went out with other men.
@prototypep4 Yes, I know that. You're aware of how young she was, right? And married to an old man with an infected ulcer on his leg. I'm not sure I would have acted any differently. Young people make bad decisions, and I glad that times have changed such that we no longer punish people by death for being young and flighty.
@LadyAnneBoleyn1536 It was not only their decision. Also Anne Boleyn was nearly forced by her family to get in with the King and Royals to improve the position of their own families. That she was a slapper too, that is besides it; but yeah, she was initially forced by her family and the King.
And just like Howard later did, she made the mistake of fooling Henry VIII and she paid for it.
its about catherine howard she was the fifth wife of henry viii its about her death because she had an affair with one of his subjects named thomas culpepper they both had their heads chopped off
i love this song, and i really want to know more about itt...please , could you help me , at least tell me who sings it (i saw this "Prząśniczki" but what name is that ? i'm confused ) , :)

Such a beautiful song. I'm glad to have discovered it. If the poor murdered Queen could hear it, I know she'd be touched.

@prototypep4 Do you think it was a love marriage? Marriages were political or economic decisions.

@rocsizdz: It's by Blackmore's Night. And Anarzee90 is right: It has some similarities to the piece by Moniuszko.
