this is highly exxagerated. They probably stuck together clips of footage from the early days of WW2 and claimed that to be January 1945 footage.

Notice, at 0:48, its actually a Russian I-16 being shot down, not an American plane. Plus you don't typically defend airfields with bombers.

The german planes are late model BF109 and Fw 190. Not planes from the start of the war.

At 0:48 it clearly is NOT a I-16 but a much larger (and relatively slender) P-47.

And where are bombers defending airfields?

Operazione Piattaforma: capodanno 1945, l'ultima grande offensiva aerea tedesca contro le basi alleate in europa occidentale.

Fu una operazione condotta con mille aereoplani.

1035 German planes in action, 304 lost with 84 thanks to German AAA because the mission was top secret and the gunners didn´t know to expect friendlies returning home.

Hence the quote: "The German flak knows neither friend nor foe - only targets."

Amazing how they didnt mention that on the way to attack friendly flak downed i think it was a quarter of the german force. Not to mention the casualties from the battle. Those were all brave men in that war. On both sides.
