I can't believe I actually like this song! The harmonica solo is the best part. although considering the fact that Dylan is pretty much the most accomplished and respectable man in musical history, i somewhat think that Weird Al is going a little too far. although it is as funny as hell.

@TaskMaster619 Bob is one of Al's style parodies, where he tries to mimic the style of the artist. In this way, it is like an homage to Bob Dylan. Listen to the other style parodies and tell me if you think Al is trying to mock the bands themselves. From my understanding, Al generally doesn't mock the song itself, rather using it as a vehicle to mock other things. And whether someone's work is flawless is all a matter of taste. Attitudes like yours are what made Al's early career a bit harder.

I've listened to pretty much everything he's done and I do like some of them because the originals were so terrible or easy to to mock. I kinda liked him in his earlier days but he's gotten worse and worse and he should stay away from Dylan all together

Just two questions: Why should anyone be immune to parody? What makes you think Al's trying to mock anything in this song? Parody doesn't automatically mean spiteful mockery. Even if Al is mocking Dylan, it's probably in good fun. Don't you have friends that gently mock you? (Even if they go too far...)
