That's amazing! Edward Bunyard was an inspiration to me, I searched for a copy of The Anatomy of Desert for years until I eventually tracked down a signed limited firt edtion in a book shop in Maidstone. Its back in print now.
I also have a 1907 copy of Fruit Farming for Profit by George Bunyard.
There was a collection of essays on Edward Bunyard published last year,'The Downright Epicure' which I purchased but have not had time to read yet.

As a rule, almost any apple that is flowering at the same time will pollinate. This fruit flowers later than most, so check with your local supplier and find a tree that flowers late.
