  • @marioverab GRACIAS!!!!!

  • I think it is a great cover a lot better than I can do

  • Love the sound and playing.

  • LOL...I think you and 30k viewers agree with that :) Thanks for the comment.

  • Thanks jspider27393, when you say "lots of things wrong" = different? because that was the intend... and this was 100% improv....I know I'm not playing all of the chords in this song LOL but again that was the intend :)

  • Nice playing but lots of things wrong

  • @jspider27393 it dont have to be just like hendrix great work man

  • *** Please remember this is a family channel when you write your comments*** Thank you

  • Why r u in your kitchen ??

  • thats a beautiful top on that guitar man.

  • Wow dude that was REALLY good

  • My god, that is awesome :)

  • Nice I love it

Btw- Gibson is better than fender :P

  • @TheEtrix69 its subjective moron

  • you a bad motherfucka

  • nice, only shame that you got a gibson and not a fender :) zakk wyde/slash style :)

  • nice, only shame that you got a gibson and not a fender :)

  • awesome..

  • Man I wish I had your talent

  • great sound and playing!!

    Keep On Rocking man !

  • This is one of the best covers of this on YouTube and I noticed you don't even use your pinky!

If you used your pinky you would be crazy

  • very groovy man, i can dig it. gave it ur own spin, a very funky one at that

  • Very very good, man! I'm still trying to learn that really fast stuff on the 12th fret in the beginning of the song. Did you pick it up off the record yourself?

  • One of the best cover on youtube. I like the improvisation

  • Do you leave the wah on the whole time?

  • You have this song tabbed out by any chance or the way you play it? I see alot of riffs in there that would be awesome to learn

  • @zergrrr ...sorry bro is all improv and is different every single time :(

  • Primo, que bien suenan esos cacharros.... felicitaciones!! hay que hacer un reencuentro cuando vengas... y un jam en algun bar de aca...

  • for the beginning with the palm muting it sounds like your playing some chords and it sound really awesome dude, im still trying to figure it out on my guitar as we speak, really nice playing man, what kind of guitar and amp/ anything else you have set up? and effects your using, if you dont mind me asking of course.

  • @zergrrr thank you for your comment...is a simple set up: a practice amp cube 30 (roland) a wha pedal (dunlop Hendrix) and my #1 guitar...les paul Standard Honey burst faded

  • Good job man! Probably the best cover on here... other than SRV :-)

  • @bigfry1979 you are too kind....thanks!

  • AMAZING PLAYING EXELENT!!!!

  • you have the most sexual guitar i have ever seen..:O!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what finish is your les paul??? please answer!

  • Great tone & playing! That flame top is quite a looker as well!

  • intro was good

  • Nice man. Very great technicality wise, and a lot of soul in it too. Great job.

  • aahhh my face!

  • Man i love kitchen jams too nice by the way

  • I really love the incorporation or your own style man, Hendrix always changed his songs up live! Really shows some style.

  • really nice cover man, kinda weird seeing one of jimis songs played on a gibson but it sounds great! really nice flame top btw!

  • that sucked badly

  • @MilkCookiesAndGuitar i reall really want to see you play guitar

  • божественно

  • oh my god, as soon as i saw that guitar i came in my pants!!

    awesome brother!!

    $~*Toks*~$

  • nice nice nice im tryin to learn it and ur doin great keepon playin

  • beautiful guitar

  • Suena bien ese fu mayor

  • @musicalen

JAJAJA....Si pero tu eres el Maesto!!!

  • Nice =D

  • Great stuff. I love it xxx

  • I am learning this song at the moment but also dont have a wah paddle just yet, do u just use it for the intro or can u use the pedal pretty much whenever during this

  • All through the begining and also during the solo. It's a pretty important key to this song..

  • even though its a les paul its sounds very hendrixy nice job

  • Nice playin man. I'm learning this song right now but I don't have a wah pedal :(

  • @zeppelin1996

You know I was in a guitar store once (long time ago) and I saw this dude playing this song and I kind had the same problem (no wah) but I went home and pretended that I had one...just jam man you'll get your pedal sooner then later but still learn the song now.....keep rocking!!!!

  • @zeppelin1996 flip the pickup selector back and forth real fast

  • @slingblade98 yeah or you can do the same thing with the tone knobs

  • @zeppelin1996 @luzsounds I think we all have had this problem this is the only reason i bought wah but what seemed to help me out is using alot more vibrato but more of a smooth and not so violent vibrato i don't know how much that helped will help you but i tried.

  • @zeppelin1996 If your thinking about getting a wah i had difficulty choosing one, everyone kept telling me to buy the vox cry baby but my guitar teacher who has pictures on his wall with famous people said to get the bad horsie. I have played both and if you can get the stevie ray vaughan tone from other effect pedals or your amp the bad horsie wah is alot better in my opinion.

  • Do you use some pedal for this, and if you do,what pedal?

  • 100th rating

    :D

  • Killer stuff. seen your ad on craigs list

  • Thanks!!!! yeah just looking for a band.....

  • haha space time continum

  • NO! YOU CANT PLAY IT ON A GIBSON! IT WILL TEAR A HOLE IN THE SPACE TIME CONTINUUM!! other than that nice job

  • @thor9890 CROSS THE STREAMSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @thor9890 TRUE!!! Thats like burning the bible.

  • wow at 47 sec he goes hard out jimi

  • wow where did u learn this

  • this song? is all improv......

  • all i can say is that was freaking gnarly man

and what were you playing it through? cuz i love the tone

  • Dude believe it or not is just a dunlop wha to a roland cube 30 practice amp

  • Hendrix would be proud :D and i want your guitar

  • wow nice les paul!!! sweet as top

  • is that les paul a gibson or epiphone?

  • That looks like the maple top of a '59! HOLY CRAP MAN NICE GUITAR!!!

  • I try and do the intro part like you did;muting the strings and moving my hand up and down the neck to simulte the Wah Wah pedal.

  • man! I love your style of playing!

  • Thank you !

  • Great! playing Hendrix isn't easy.

  • How much was your guitar. I'm looking to get a les paul or a music man.

  • GET THE THE LES PAUL!!! GREATEST GUITAR OF ALL TIME! Try the les paul access

  • fender american strat is way better than the les pauls out today. If you could only play a pre 80's lp and a lp out now you would see how crappy they have been making them lately. I mean they aren't bad but compared to the quality of older models. Its crap. Les Paul went for profit over perfection.American Fender > 1980+ LP.

    And nice cover btw.

  • Thank you for your comment.....if you pick up a guitar fender, les pual, ibanez etc if it sounds good and feels good (for you) get it ,I played Gibson, Epiphones, Peaveys, ibanez, Fender etc and I did that : feel, hear and buy ...it could be 500 or 3000 dollars guitar... is what sounds good to you

  • the new mexican Fenders are ight. just got mine tuesday

  • 1400 used----this guitar is awesome I played a VOS for 3000 and almost got it but i played this one and i took it home

  • Nice Cover

  • that was a very nice cover of the song and i liked that you added your style

  • you move like slash

  • I like ur les paul im thinking buying one or an ibanez but i don't know :/

  • I was thinking about buying a les paul but i got a ibanez insted and the ibanez really was worth getting

  • Ha, I loved it!

Got a little Les Claypool going on with your left leg there :)

Can I ask what your backing track is?

  • no i mean like a gibson les paul i know that but what year?

  • what guitar is that

  • it's a les paul!!!

  • Where did you get the backing track? Great jam, by the way!

  • awsome playing great job! CAn i just ask..what wah are u using? I have a jim dunlop gcb-95 and was wondering whether that would be good to use. Also in your solos what kind of scales are u using? Cos when jamming i can only ever improvise on the position 1 minor pentatonic scale..thanks

  • somebody compared my playing to slashes, i'd be pissed off.

  • Great cover, but to much Slash in the solos..

  • you said slash the Solo's!?! (HAHA) I'm honored to be compared to Mr Slash....my intention is not to copy anyone here ...I;m just jamming...thank you for your comment

  • I'm guessing you mean too much blues in the solo's?

  • dont do this on a les paul... use a fender.

  • i agree

  • Dude, it´s not about the guitar... It´s about the playing. The dude did a great job, so what does it matter anyways?

  • Now that is how you cover a jimi hendrix song....great job

  • Nice guitar, nice cover, awesome style, good work man. I have a very similar guitar but you got me beat with the faded 50's neck. looks super comfortable.

  • Sweet Les Paul!

  • cool man :)

  • louser

  • damn man nice!!!! amazing sound out of that LP too god-made guitar. too bad jimi didnt use it or hed sound like that

  • jimi's style suited the strat. dont get me wrong, im a huge fan of the les paul as well, but i wouldnt take jimi any other way, personally.

  • Nice, very nice....great tone on the Les Paul. Great to hear any guitar anthem played where the guitarist makes the song their own. Good job!

  • mate, this is brilliant

  • first youtube voodoo child cover video i have seen with real style man!!

  • this is zakk wyldes version

  • lol, it is, but he still did a great job

  • I have played this song in many different settings, bands and different guitars my intention is not to copy anybody here (because is all improv) but If I sound like Mr Wylde...that was an accident...HAHA

    Thank you for the comment

  • now I really want to get a les paul. Fantastic video man.

  • can u give me the tabs please

  • Sorry not tabs....I pulled songs by ear...as you can see its all improv I guess I'm to lazy to learn the real stuff hahaha

  • the real question is why not play in the kitchen.

  • rofl

  • THAT WAS AMAZING!! pure hendrix style. 5/5 dude i know for sure your gonna go somewhere someday.

  • you are very kind....I'm just another guy learning as I go.....thanks

  • Great cover mate! 5***** for you!

  • Thank you...I'm having a good time here! Currently I'm working on recording my on stuff hopefully will sound good to post it on-line.

  • u using a wah wah right cuz your good with it im learning right now

  • that was amazing

  • very good guy F'real !!!

  • *** Please remember this is a family channel when you write your comments*** Thank you

  • what effects are u using

  • Just a practice amp (Roland cube 30)and a jimmy dunlop wah

  • Nice Man

  • well someone thinks they're slash

and someone certainly plays like him!

    rock on dude!

  • that was sick dude

  • dont ever play that song again on a gibson - always a strat!

  • Dont see you with any Video's :P

  • Why?

  • er becuase it doesnt sound right at all - that song needs to be done justice and played on a strat.

  • Or anything with single coils and similar wiring

  • wow.... well.. i know like... most of this is improvised, but did you guide yourself through tabs when you first learned it? or just by ear?

  • Hey You've got the most beautiful Les Paul I've ever seen, what's series and colour is it?

I wanna buy a 2nd electric and I figure it would go great with my Daphne blue Fender strat. That and I of course want a brilliant guitar!

  • hi again this is totally awesome ,what backing u using, you can make that guitar rock just like the king MR HENDRIX>for a beginner how long wud it take to play like u or nearly like u.

  • these songs I learned when I was in my early teens and every time that I play them they sound different. I always say that is your interpretation that makes thing unique ofcourse practice make a lot of it, but is your own unique style that will make the difference. Who knows may be you can totally rock this song now just by using your sound and style. Thanks for the comment and I hope I was able to answer your question. =)
