Well, it's not the easiest saw to repair and service since you'll have to do a lot of rather tricky disassembling and assembling to access almost everything! It's worth it if the saw is in decent shape to begin with (and if it's not your only work saw) but for an everyday-use working saw there's easier models to work on...
It's 32ccm (2.0 cu. in.), and around or maybe just below 2.0 bhp.
Stihl built a lot of diffrent 020AVs.I`ve got two of them,a 020AV with a 38mm Piston and 2HP and a 020 AVP Super with a 40mm Piston and 2,3HP,you can see it as a top handle on one of my videos. The real pro version have back handle and chainbreak, but not mine.:-)
Yes, that's right, it stands for "professional". With this particular model that actually means nothing but just "rear handle version", as opposed to your top handle version. I'm not sure I can follow Stihl's reasoning behind this naming scheme though, the other way around would have made a lot more sense...
hmm wierd id thuink mine would be the pro also i have yet to get it running ive just been working on my other things before the saws. i think ill sell it once i get it runing though. how much would you pay for one thats running good and fully functional??

Hey, I have this saw, it doesn't work but I'm thinking of fixing it.
