Im getting a UV lamp just like your 36w one with the pink hood for my christmas present this year, im so excited to begin doing my own gels too! So thank you so much for this tutorial, it helped a lot a beginner like me!

Thank you for makin this!! My Japanese aunt gave me a complete Japanese gel nail kit and I had no idea how to use it bc I can't read kanji! Lol so I also have re magic touch wand. I'm so excited to get started now :)

By using the gel application did yo find that your nails grew longer and quicker? I want to start using this application because I want my nails to grow and the different nail products such as nail treatments especially nail hardeners don't work for me.

not really no, my nails didn't grow quicker after applying gel nails haha! but it does make your nail strong when its applied, not when its taken off though!

you know it was actuallythe whole nail that came off. i'm thinking i might have the wrog kind of gel. it says on the tube that is overlay gel? maybe the gels just not sticking to my nails properly. well thanks any way :D

maybe its the way you applied the gel onto your nails too, try to do layers instead of just one big blob!

oh thank you for your advice about how to stick the crystales to the nails. :D

well i was so happy coz i bought a uv lamp a bit like your 1st one. i bought cute flowers and frutpice to stick on my nails. the 1st time i tryed putting well making my gel nails it was a bit wonky and i pled it off my nails as well. the 3rd time i was so happy with my result but my nail disapered in the washing up. please help :) why do you think my gel nails come off so eassy :D)))

the whole nail came off? or the tip that is longer than ure real nail did?

i never had the whole nail come off haha

if its the tip, its cuz the connecting gel between the base and the elongated piece is not strong, and so i would recommend you to put more gel coat on that section, and file it off later so its stronger!

be gentle with your gel nails! or else next time it might be your real nail breaking off too!

oh one other thing when you put you stones on you nails, should you put gel on top to keep it? thanks :D

if its just small stones then the base gel (or even top coat applied on gel nail) should be able to stick it quite well

you can always put a top finishing gel coat over everything though to give it a more gel shinny look
