You know I never realized just how big wind turbines are until I saw one of the blades being hauled down the highway on a truck bigger than 2 semis here in Texas... They are freakin huge!

do you know that if you keep doing that, they will get on your ass for it,trust me,i seen these kids doing it one time, and the police was coming down the road at the time,so id stop doing that.
OK, the next time I want to fly through the antennas of Austrias highest skyscraper (202m lol). I want to use a first person view system with video goggles.
A few years ago.Parents were out for dinner. When the babysitter noticed a shadow. She called the parents but halfway through the message all the parents heard was a scream. When they rushed home all they saw was the babysitters?Body on the floor. If you dont put this on 10 other videos he will appear at 3o'clock tonight in your bed.
Yes the E-70 is big. But the largest Enercon model now is the E-126, rotor diameter 126m, nameplate capacity 7.5 MW. Probably the largest rotating machine built by humans, so far.
The Dutch are talking about building still larger wind turbines, to install offshore. The bigger they are, the lower the cost per kW. Swept rotor area goes up with the square of rotor diameter, and wind speed increases with height.
You son of bitch take this video to shit box!

It shows how awesome rc planes are when you're looking down at one of those wind turbines from one. Great video!!

I have ripped it from the "Operation Flashpoint-Game of the Year Edition"CD 3.
But you can try it here: zaycev,net/pages/158/15807,shtml

WOW cool Generator blades! Awesome place to fly! Where is this exactly!?
I am on the shoreline of Connecticut on Long Island Sound across from New York City, US.

Yeah, That is pretty cool. Thanks for your honesty about the camera. Is that an air broadcast or do you have a flash card on board?
Thanks

It is recording on a 2 GB SD-Card.

very fun how do you see the plane that high
DeanC993 2 years ago
The wingspan is 1095 mm (43 ").
I think it is possible to climb to max. 2000 ft (600 m) without using binoculars or video goggles.
At my other vid I was at approx. 1300 ft (400 m), I could still see the flight attitude, but the plane was very very small :-)
You can see this wind turbine in the background of the vid, I estimated the altitude with it!
Oh, and I have pretty good eyes :-)

cool what if the wind turbine was spinning fast! lucky you i have glasses

Dude,
What type Cam do you have on board? I sure would like one of those. Can you tell me about it?
flyingklown 3 years ago
It is an ACME FlyCamOne2, weighs only 40 g and costs approx. 60 Euro (80 USD). Less air resistance and camera head movable (90°).
Bad picture quality if it is dark, audio delay possible, camera turns off at random and sometimes it only records with 10 fps (even when it's cold).
But if the camera has a good day you get great pictures!

That is one big mthr fkng wind turbine. Look at the size of that thing!
