Why isn't the Government picking up more of the Green New Deal? It makes so much sense while we are struggling to make jobs. Let's get people off the dole and into green collar jobs.
1) Thats great that the greens are fixing homes with the help of the current government in power.
Why cant we setup rain collecting water tanks, chickens, gardens, herbs, healing plants, etc in communitys centres all over the country? Builders need jobs, people need homes and jobs, and the old have no retirement plans anymore.
2) The retired people could have rooms at the centres and people would have food, natural healing plants and water as well as somewhere to live for free after they retire.
Food could be closer to homes and for free as part of rates to maintain the design.
This could be a community run permaculture design with training for all.
3) The government is happy to put more cars on the road, but do we need all the extra cars, if we are also adding faster internet. Just cost more money in the end, and we will still have to import food, medical, fuel, resources, etc. Plus ongoing tax to maintain the roads.
4) All I ever here is:- Its ok, we can borrow, tax, etc from the peoples childrens children, while we make a killing and sell all of new Zealand resources. So what does that leave us the people? Slavery? No homes, no land? While bankers get rich and put laws in to control people. Welcome to hell people! I say we go back to the Ten Commandments its much easier. Love
