Best song/book ever! However, the movie was nowhere near as close to the books as I thought it would be. For example the Ra'zac die? They can't even make Eldest anymore. However this is a really awesome awesome song. (thumbs up)

ya the movie would have been half decent if they had stuck to the storyline better. i agree with emperor, if you watch it and pretend its not Eragon, its pretty good, the special effects are about the best part of the film. but otherwise its shit. i seriously recommend reading the books if you like large, mature (and loooooonnnngggg) adventure stories

@EmperorHarold i agree that it is a good movie if you pretend that it isnt Eragon, but when you compare it to the books, it's TERRIBLE! They're forgotten Orik and Solembum and Elva, and Brom and Murtagh are all wrong and Arya is supposed to be an ELF with black hair, not red hair, and Eragon does NOT have blond hair in the book and i could go on FOREVER pointing out all the wrong bits in this movie. I wish they would redo it; i liked Saphira and the landscapes, and that's about all.

I think Jeremy Irons did a very good job as Brom, but they did miss out too much. They should have waited for the next book to see what was and wasn't important, films can never include everything of course, but to miss out crucial parts is ridiculous. Although character appearances never annoy me, the fact that Arya looked like a human really annoyed me.
