whats even funnier in these games is the rare time the pace car comes out on the track and then goes 400 mph to try to catch up and then and slams into the entire field and they go flying everywhere, in NR2003 the pace car has no collision

@mzxrules it happened to me :P i have one of the nascar 2000+ series and when i still was playing it one time in one of the smallest tracks everyone was slowing down near a crash then pace car came from behind and mowed through everyone.... was the funniest thing i ever saw xD

The pace car maintains its same speed after it gets hit at 190 MPH thats fucked up

Its a glitch/intended feature. The pace car is immune to damage so that it'll survive through the whole race, the bad news is that all the damage gets transferred to the other car.

You can also sometimes get stuck on top of the pace car and "surf" around.
