Whether Russell was a Mason or not I really don't know. He did use the pyramid to present his ideas. He really believed that devine truth would be found there. I helped clean out an old Kingdom Hall built in the late 1800's. It had all the original writings of Russell and tracts-books written by Rutherford. I wish I had kept them. I was instructed by the local elders that I should not read them and destroy the literture. I did read many of them and was shocked by changes over the years.

If Russell was a Mason, then why, in his book "Studies in the Scriptures - Series 4: The Battle of Armagedon", talk about the need to remove involvement with christendom & politics, & then equate these with "secret societies" like the Masons, saying that when one becomes a christian, he is freed from any oaths respecting these, because we are now out "of darknes"? This was written in 1897, so he was dis-involved at least by then, if he ever was.

Whether Russell was a Mason or not I really don't know. He did use the pyramid to present his ideas. He really believed that devine truth would be found there. I helped clean out an old Kingdom Hall built in the late 1800's. It had all the original writings of Russell and tracts-books written by Rutherford. I wish I had kept them. I was instructed by the local elders that I should not read them and destroy the literture. I did read many of them and was shocked by changes over the years.

Russell was not a mason. His father was not a mason. There is no record of his being a mason..and many people have tried hard to find the proof. The pyramid was Russell's misunderstanding of the 'sign in egypt' that is mentioned in isiah..he tried hard to make the pyramid in egypt fit biblical prophecy. He was wrong on that account. The cross and the crown are not exclusive symbols of masonry..they were common among christendom. It simply represented christ's authority and sacrifice.

@brofun Actually there is a whole chapter on Pyramidology in his Pastor Russell 's work Studies in the Scriptures ( featured in JW out of darkness video). I do not know if Russell was a Freemason, but I do know he was in to Pyramidology which is an occult practise. If you do not believe me, check this out at your Kingdom Hall Library.

So, with the wrong understanding, he south to see if measurements of the passage ways corresponded to years in bible chronology and prophecy. That is a big difference. And no, he was never a mason.

here's what jehovah's witness also are told to do , if someone who is jehovah witness ( after being baptise your are officialy a JW ) decides to leaves , friend , best friend ( except family ) you are not to ever talk to this person again and after leaving this shit at 17 i understood why they have such rule cause they are scared people like me who opened my eyes to the brainwashing may get the others to open their eyes as well . till this day the JW of my x congregation dont speak to me
