You know something I didn't ask months ago when I first saw this video was around 7.20 a house was demolished by the tornado. Did the spotters stop and check to see if anyone was there, and if so were they okay? From the video it does not appear they did as they seemed to go back on the chase. This at times concerns me, which is more important, the chase or checking to see if people are okay if they are caught in the storm.

The reason why I chase alone. If I want to get close, I can be without someone panicing, and on the other side, no one commanding me to get even closer. These guys are great at what they do, but I wouldn't want all the panicing and yelling at each other. Awesome video though. I've said it before, you guys really get close, great footage.

i would rather live in a world where there are people chasing these things. they call them in to new s people who warn the public. due to hills and valleys radar cannot spot every tornado. a tornado has to be confirmed by spotters on te ground.

It's great. But as with anything, you will have ups and downs with it. Some of the days the storms don't perform as you would like, but other days you might have three good storms with wall clouds and have to decide which one to take. This happened w/ me in Kansas. I got 5tornadoes the first 3 days I chased, but I happened to have a good outbreak, May 22-24. It can get quite Hairy at times.There will be times when the roads will mess up a chase.You get better w/ experiece. I'm still learning.

That tornado in Woonsocket was an amazing F3. The part of the vid showing how the dirt was kickin out so far and high into the air was amazing. If you got closer on that one, it would dirty you up. That Monsterous F4, pure power comin at you bro. It's awesome to see on video, but I want to see one like that next year in person, it will be my third year chasing. I've seen the weak and strong, I just haven't seen a violent one yet.

(Part 2) When you get a storm that you're able to get a great position, and it spawns a tornado before your eyes, that is when you really have a good chase, makes it all worth while. Or when a tornado crosses the road up ahead of you. This was how I saw my first tornado, it was about 500 yards in front of me on I-70 in Collyer Kansas. It was weak, but it was still a sight to see. Being a SD native, you are used to tornadoes every summer, but very few times have they wiped a town completely off the map. I was 14 when these storms happened, and it is something to see because the same night that "Tornado Tuesday" happened, there were people from the surrounding areas around Manchester helping everyone because it seemed like it was a repeat almost of the Spencer, South Dakota tornando that happened in 1998. It was great to see everyone working together to help the people.
