  • i always use a master link Clip.

  • to tight

  • looks like you have a badly worn masterlink....or maybe the link isnt the correct link for the type of chain

  • that can only be explained by wrong pitch. its like a 520 master link on a 525 sprocket set

  • Your chain is too tight

  • this chain is doggy...get a new link asap

  • did u use old chain whit new sprocket if yes its no good to do it

  • if u changet the sprocket you have 2 change the chain and the other driven sprocket

  • wrong pitch with the chain, get correct link

  • problem very evident. master link is wrong pitch, or stretched to kingdom come and causing obvious issue. very typical of off brand parts, sometimes happens with good quality stuff too.

best fix is remove that link and replace with new one.

  • This was the chain that was on the bike when I bought it a year ago. It's since been replaced twice and I put about 30,000 miles on the bike. lol.

  • @pred8tr it looks like you need lube and new masterlink

  • did u fit the chain? could you have overtightened the pressing of the masterlink???? i read about a tool that has different plates( ie thickness varies) so that the link is not squeezed too much when assembling new chain..

  • replace the link with a new one

  • U GONNA GRIND

  • THAT link right ?
