I'd say violin is way harder but I just picked it up and I've had my mandolin for a few years now. They both produce godly sounds if you can play them. But still completely different.

this man represents one of the very few actual musical talents left in the music industry, and its no wonder. best stuff to date though has to be off his newest record, which is stunning in more ways than i can list in 500 characters.

However, listening to him in performance is mind blowing. He just gives everything such a grand scope that its impossible to escape.

George Martin is "the 5th Beatle", he was the producer of most of their records and the one who intruduced the classical influence on them.

I agree, Scythian Empire has a great feel to it! Armchair Apocrypha, is one of my favorite albums. Not a robot,but a ghost, Tea and Thorazine, Skin is,my also have that feel to dance to them :) even 11:11... It drives me crazy that the word flatter is used wrong all the time. If you look up the word flattery - it means insincere praise. People tell others that that have given them a compliment..."I'm flattered" - when what they've actually just said to them in truth was that it wasn't sincere and was instead false.
