That was a monthly newsletter project of Patrick speilmans.I thought it was so cool that i made about 25 of them,one for each of my nephews.The light colored wood on the inside called for hard maple,the inlay was anyones choice. Possibly walnut by the looks of it.; Whittlinden

very cool, I saw an all wood folding knife at country knives here in PA, a big knife shop, when I saw it I wanted it nbadly, but the rpice was way up there and I couldnt afford it at the time, very cool piece!
