2003: McCain Said Blitzkrieg Was The Right Strategy

It's not a matter of Blitzkrieg or large presence of troops. Those 2 things are not exclusionary. Anybody that understands warfare will tell you Blitzkrieg requires large numbers of troops. The spearhead pushes and passes strong pockets of resistance while a mass flood of troops follows behind and cleans it up. The invasion in 2003 failed to meet this requirment of large follow up troops. Probably b/c the commanders thought we would be met as liberators so it wasn't needed.
