you bring urban meyer to columbus look at all the bad shit the players got into at florida, arrests and 30 more crap, hell yeah bring him to columbus ncaa will have a field day. GO BLUE!!!!
@Bexly ohio state goes and brings a spread offense into the big ten see how well you guys are gonna do im really happy we got denard robinson out of it but we should of had ryan mallet it was a stupid move to bring rich rod we lost 2 star recievers because he brought the spread also
Urban Meyer is camping out in Columbus so maybe the spread offense will hit the Buckeyes soon! As big of an @sshole that he is (which is why most Buckeyes fans don't want him), Meyer won 2 national titles in the SEC with that offense. Compare that to Rich Rods great success in the Big Least.
@jjwilson3345 well urban meyer is a boss but it took him a while to build those teams up and honistly the first one wasnt that impressive no disrespect to you buckeye fans but your 2006 team gin was your only guy he got hurt you guys got beat down and there 2008 team was nasty there defense was amazing they had all kinds of speed on offense but the defenseive coach was the main reason they won in 2008 and percy harvin i dont see him being as sucessful at ohio state
I was 12 years old and I was there with my dad. I remember that punt return so vividly, our seats were right on that side and I remember him running by and everyone around us going absolutely insane, like people I didn't know hugging me and jumping around, just going totally nuts. The energy the whole game was so intense. When it ended it was so packed and everyone was going so crazy you almost had to go where the crowd moved you.
I almost get the impression Chuck was going to strike a Heis--I mean... Desmond pose after that punt return until he got tackled in the endzone by the rest of the return team. :)
In my 30 + years of attending Michigan Football games, this was BY FAR, the BEST Michigan regular season game I have EVER been to!!! I will never forget the game, the crowd, getting onto the field after the game. It TOTALLY was the BEST!
Hey WolverineHistorian, I was born and raised in Howell, MI. I now live in Florida. Michigan Football has been such a big part of my families life for many, many years. I love looking back at all these great memories and remembering how I felt at the time. Love what your doing man! Keep it up!
Thank you WolverineHistorian for putting this up. Even though I was only two and my family had not moved to Ann Arbor yet, Today I still feel proud of the wolverines in their glory days as #1, and I hope this season we can regain some of our old glory with a new generation of players and coaches on the team. GO BLUE!!!!
I thought the jazzed-up intro was hokey... give me a straightforward 70's-80's telecast w/o any of the Hollywood frills. And this kind of BS has only gotten worse since then.
UM was unbelievably fired up. So too was OSU. Incredible intensity.
But the intros are cool because they represent the time and graphics of the era. I often find them more interesting than than the game highlights which can get repetitive in some of the less significant games.
I'm glad the intro is included here because it is not on the official Michigan Beat Ohio State dvd. But yeah, some of the overhyped ones today with a lousy band are pretty forgettable.

This year's defense should watch this video and see how you wrap up ball carriers properly and attack the ball relentlessly.

Thanks, WH! So many things to like about this video:
Keith Jackson (love how he just let the moment unfold after woodson's return)
The Crowd (SO loud during that punt return. "Boston, Boston", "Heisman!")
That Ohio State was clearly rattled after the first TD.
Chris freaking Floyd.
