Blind fold anyone and put them in this car, they would never say it's a hyundai. Look beyond the badge of a car.

@Srbijarulez all of those other brands have engineered their cars and put in the work. Hyundai simply just copy and pasted it all. Yea its a nice looking car and all but hell its not a benz or lexus. Its hyundais attept to create a luxury car. They did a great job but dont put this car against a benz or beamer. There are no new innovations made with this car, just copied and made affordable. Yes car companies cheat off of 1 another, but hell they do a better job of what was already made.

Don't forget that Lexus is just a Toyota with a different badge, you know, the car company that makes a 1 litre yaris? @Srbijarulez Answer my question that u are avoiding. What new innovations has hyundai made? NONE! they have only taken tech out of other cars and simply made it 10k cheaper than the competition. Its a good car like ive said, but it sure as hell is no breakthrough in tech or perfromance and comfort. Lexus engineers their cars. Toyota is the eco box. When was the last time u saw a Hyundai on the Nugurbring in Germany being made to handle better? Dont say G.C. it was their to be testedNOTinnovated

Something that is new to the automotive industry all together? If so then 80% of luxury auto mobiles dont do anything special either. Or do u mean something that is just new to the brand itself (e.g. handling)? And what does the nuburgring have to do with engineering?

@Srbijarulez Sure Hyundai has been to the nurburgring. Have they set any numbers? No. Anything new on this car? Not really. Hyundai is just a brand that is good for the money. Not that its a bad thing but this brand is not exclusive at all. All I'm saying is that the Hyundai is the Lexus of the 1990's, a new name plate, it will grow into something bettter but for know it's only a good buy. No need to compare performance here to companies that have been revising ideas before we were born.

(not counting the LFA, thats not in this class) No. You're comparing the most prestigous sport cars that the rival brands make to the genesis, which was only meant to be an affordable rival to cars like the 5 series. And thats the whole point of the Genesis, it's meant to be an affordable luxury car that offers you the same amount of features and luxury a bmw has, for nearly half the price.

I'm amazed how people use "racing" as their argument for buying a bmw. 99% of people with these cars have absolutely no use for performance, it's simply for status, and theres nothing wrong with that. It just means you cant appreciate a car unless it is "cool" among the crowds. And thats the point of the genesis, to offer you the same things a bmw has for half the price. Sadly no bmw badge tho ;)

Audi is just too nice though. LED headlights,Quattro All wheel drive, modern sleek interiors and that unique German solidity and technology. For me I rather just get an audi a4 than a Genesis i dont care if the Genesis has a v-8 or its bigger to me about design and how the car looks and how it drives. I think with an Audi you get more than just a luxury car you get a well engineered precision made product.

As long as hyundai puts a 10 yr warrenty and the right options on it, it could have an effect on higher end auto makers, but you know ppl buy cars for there names and until hyundai has a name in the auto market i doubt this car will do any good.
