The flashing light on the car are tiny. How could anyone notice them? They need some of the ones the cars here in the states have. You'll certainly see them then. Great stuff all the same.

I agree, most of the unmarked Tarffic cars in the Dublin metro area have two leds at the rear and front, in the grille, on the dash, and have repeaters in the brake lights.

they need some sports cars out there, not SUV's and 4 sedans.

Cops don't use sports cars here because they aren't equipped with them. Its easy to recognize their unmarked cars too.

I have to disagree. I think the two Gardai were spot on in handling the old guy for the drink driving offence at the end. They have tried to reason with him and only used force as a last resort. Although it might make good TV viewing to show a fight or struggle the Gardai seem to be fair towards the public.
