And when they take it all home at 2:23, the child's voice outclasses and overpowers the adults. Amazing. One of a kind.

Lena Zavaroni was a great talent, in my country she is not much famous, but I have the lucky to knew her work in a vinyl LP from 1977 that I keep with me all along the years......her music and she lives forever in the memory of people who loves good music!!!

As close to perfect as a singing voice can be. No studio tricks, no auto-tune, just pure talent. There's not enough space here to describe how pleasing to the ears her singing is. She sounds so happy here. I hope that someday some record company (like Bear Family Records) gathers all her LP, BBC studio recordings, and live performances into one package.. I'd be first in line to buy it. Thanks for posting this.

I love this clip, for one thing, for having Lena not only singing, but actually playing part of the instrumentation during it. And doing it well. I have seen several photographs of Lena with a guitar, and it's clearly apparent in them that she could play that as well. And I understand she also had an accordian at one time, and played that too. I wish her instrumental abilities would have been shown more on the programmes and on her records too, as she was clearly multi-talented!
