  • You are the profeesional racer??

  • I was wondering, how realistic is the use of the clutch with the G25/27?

  • Nice Socks ;)

  • I can´t tell u much about LFS but over any else Simulator, and for me the best was GTL the old cars handel so well... and the others like Rfactor GTR ore so are cool to best grafik and the physik are good to... tell me the grafik of LFS dosen´t look bader then that from Rfactor ore ? are there mods for LFS ??

  • @FireballGER There are mods for LFS but it is not a game really prepared for that. LFS is very good at physics, one of the bests I have ever tried.

  • Caterham's lol.

  • Nice game is it ONLINE?

  • @Amer330 Yep

  • Michael Schumacher??

  • how do you do that heel&toe?

i cant get my pedels like that

  • nice driving

  • You would thrash the hell outta me in lfs but if it was real life and i was in my van i bet you couldnt beat me ;) No offence tho :) Nice vid ^^

  • nice cockpit i really want one but my parents say that i don't care about expensive things

Nice shifting and driving i know that means a lot of practice to make it perfect (Sorry 4 bad english)

PD: Your hand looks weird :)

  • nice set up man

  • easyest thing to do on earth

  • In racing is essential to change gears one by one, for 2 reasons:

    1. your car can spin if the the revs don't match when downshifting.

    2. You use the engine brake, in addition to the standard brake, so your brake distance will be shorter and better.

    This is wrong

    1. Just old the clutch and the brake longer your speed will decrease and you just rev match at that spees the gear you wanna go into.

  • how doyou get the steering to be like that? my game goes around 900 degrees but my steering doesnt. i have a g27.

  • dude how do you get the arms in the game? I have lfs and the arms aren't visible in the cockpit for some reason

  • @purplesalad Check the game view options, you can enable or disable it.

  • This video just shows how far racing sims still have to go. The heel - toe technique still had a lot to be desired if we were talking about a real car. When blipping the throttle just watch the toes in relation to the cord against the back wall. There is a lot of movement. In a car, this would translate into rough pulsed braking, which is not desirable. Less toe movement and I approve. The rest of the technique looks good.

  • @alpsalish I agree ;)

  • @alpsalish the electrical cable is defiantly more responsive than a real life gear mechanism.. for sure.. i get wat your saying

  • @alpsalish I agree with you, but if you can do it on a simulator, it is a lot easyer to learn it on a real car.

  • have you ever driven a manual shif car in a competetive race?

    I doubt it

  • good video man!

  • nice socks

  • Ur shifting like a gay =)

  • heel?

  • nice heel and toe, a bit over reving but pretty clean.

  • nice racing dude you look like a pro racer xD

  • why do you have to do that when shifting down? why can't you just shift down normally without hitting the throttle?

  • Mu buenoooooo, ese punta tacon en las frenadas dice mucho del etilo de conducir, si señor

  • I want this.

  • The gearbox is too far from the Wheel.

  • @HatlabuFarkas is it? my actual car is even lower.

  • My friend Kim have one of these. =)

  • Nice! ;) I use xBox 360 controller!

  • no, it Can`t be used at Xbox 360

And that was a great driving

  • can this be used for xbox 360

  • PS2, PS3 and PC

  • Comment removed

  • bloody good

  • too fast gearbox !!!

  • the new nissan 370Z's or whateva there called, have automatic throttle blipping on downshift

  • Good save at 2:10

  • LX6

  • oh man...lol u have to let go of the throttle while shifting :| :P

  • what does heel & toe technique do :D

  • stops thr rear wheels / power wheels locking and you spining :D

  • it maches the correct rpm for the downshift through the corner

  • It's just a faster way to downshift, many drivers use it in competition. ;)

  • you are the STIG!!!!

  • G25 has an analog clutch actually - if you look in the windows setup thing for the game controller, it registers position over the full range of motion of the pedal.

That being said, I don't think many (if any at all) games take advantage of this.

  • Actually, I lied. All of the simbin games and rFactor definitely take advantage of the analog pedal. I just suck at launching :P.

  • I agree man. I think LFS beats the hell out of any racing sim out there, the graphics may not be state of the art, but the physics sure are :)

  • @Pendragon1989 Forza motorsport 3 beats it

  • @jayjaykewl727 Nope, I can play forza maybe 2 hours at max, but lfs.. I can sit and play all day long.

  • It can be analog or a button. Since the G25 uses a button for it's clutch pedal, it is only full on or off.

  • You realy Noob

  • Nice downshift dude :D

Heel & toe downshift is the best technic to downshift the car (while braking) without cause jolting to drivetrain - that transfer weight to the front of the car - cause the rear tire loss traction and the car may be spin or uncontrollable in the corner...

  • in a real car is not that easy :p

  • Great Job. I play this game as well. This car is not easy to control.

  • Very nicely done dude.

    thanks

  • So is it essential to decrese gears one by one? So I shouldn't go from 4th gear to 2nd?

  • in street yes,,,but not in racing....you''l fucked up yours gears lol...remember in racing you''ll approach the corners very fast....if you skip gears your tranny will screammmmmmmmmmm.....

  • In racing is essential to change gears one by one, for 2 reasons:

    1. your car can spin if the the revs don't match when downshifting.

    2. You use the engine brake, in addition to the standard brake, so your brake distance will be shorter and better.

  • Engine braking can off blance the car and in the corner, it would/could cause a spin.

Braking moves the front of the car lower to the track and since your steering is the front wheels it helps. Engine braking is not that friendly with that.

also with braking the front of the car is lower, hence the rotate can be used at corners.

  • when you downshift do you have to press cluch cause i know you have to press when you upshift but downshift you dont need to press clutch huh????

  • you have to press the clutch always you change a gear. Up or down, doesn't matter.

  • @MikeBell2007

    positive!

  • @ji3200 Some cars might handle not cluthing on the upshifts I think , but I have only seen this on a V8 Supercar so , yea every car requires you to use the clutch on every gear up or down .

  • 2. If you use engine brake in a real racing situation you will spin out for sure and the point of heel and toe is too not have engine brake

by changing gear one by one you just loosing time

  • dude! amazing love it!

  • what game is this?

  • Live For Speed

  • mike is your wheel set at 900 or 720 or 360,,,i figured less rotaion means easier control,,,especially when racing....900 only for drifting would'nt you agree?

  • The wheel is set to 720º to match car's max rotation, so degree compensation is not needed.

  • is heel & toe just to keep the revs up so you dont have to change geer?

  • Heel and toe is used to revmatch while braking

Revmatching is done to get rid of the jerk you get when downshifting at higher speeds

  • Sorry, but I don't understand "poping", my english isn't very good at all.

    Thanks for your comment ;)

  • my mom has the same kind of seatpants

  • god ur fucking good..especially in the lx6 like nobody can race that car cuz they dont know how to add the weight

  • joder que wapo

  • have an important question as you have the different camera's put in a video called the even PIP

  • foot work epic :D ROFL

  • good foot work! ;) I do not you:)

  • i just got this and the g25. how come when i start my gas seems like it is already pressed, and when i brake it takes forever to slow down. my gas is already like halfway pressed without me even pressing it at all. how do i fix this?

  • Change both settings in logitech profiler and lfs to "separated pedals" not combined.

  • thank you, that helped. Now one last question, when the race starts it seems like im being beat every time even if i am in the first starting place. I always shift from neutral to second in the beginning because i done think there is a first right? What am i doing wrong? Thank you!

  • You have to engage first gear and then second.

  • i dont have first gear on it i dont think. where is it located? i start at top left and go straight down to second. where is first? i go from neutral to second

  • I dont know about the G25, but in real life, the topleft is 1 gear and so on..

Neutral is when the stick isn't in any of the "holes"

  • top left is the first and then u shift down into second. neutral is in the middle

  • i hate heel & toe it brings a little moreof 00.03 sec of a round the different between a real racer and normal downshift is nothing special its a joke it makees no sin

  • Say it to Senna.

  • Theres more feeling in heel toe :) it's just a fun thing you know :) and some skill required :P

  • thats right ...

  • Heel and Toe technique is basically rev matching while braking. It makes the rpm of the engine matches the gear. It would help alot. It wouldn't give the jerks motion when you downshift and didn't match the engine rpms to the gear. If you don't do it you will upset the balance and will just spin out. Or struggle to get in the right gear and waste time shifting again.

  • looks so much fun, i got lfs S2 but with my ps2 controller its kinda hard

  • how i can drift?

  • not saying this in a douschbag way but what kind of question is that?

  • u start... WITH HANDBRAKE!!!!!! :D

  • well.. shit down a gear then E-brake then start turning around the corner

  • rofl typo.. shift

  • is that a jeep?

  • no, thats a irmscher/lotus 7

  • what game is it?

  • As title says, "Live for Speed"

  • Good video, you should make more LFS videos!

  • can you make another one of these videos but with a view of your whole body and the your cockpit it would make your video more interesting bro and i love your heel toe method keep on the good work. o.k. man hope you make more videos.

  • Thanks bro ;)

  • Hi,what is hell&toe technique? What gains you in the game?sorry my bad english:)

  • It helps you to reduce gears without loosing control and entering faster in corners. Seach in wiki "Heel-and-toe"

  • Thanx alot mikebell

  • great video editing with those views

  • hahaha

    i also drive with socks

    cant wear shoes

  • when you shift gears, it looks like theres no space for your hand lol

  • very nice video.. awesome skills...

would it be possible for you to create a video teaching us how to do the heal-toe thing?

  • out of GTR EVO, LFS, rFactor, which one is the most realistic? I find LFS the most realistic but GTR EVO the most fun

  • I-Racing, see it in one of my videos ;)

  • VERY Good Race Mr. X ^^

  • haha

  • Why the hell do you go through every gear when you shift down? You do realise you can just take it straight from 4th down to 2nd, right?

  • Yes, but going through every year optimize your breaking

  • Does it punish you if you dont rev-match(heel-toe)?

  • are u using sequential?

  • No, H pattern

  • It helps you to reduce gears without loosing control and entering faster in corners. Seach in wiki "Heel-and-toe"

  • From wiki:

It is used when braking and downshifting simultaneously (prior to entering a turn), and allows the driver to "blip" the throttle to raise the engine speed and smoothly engage the lower gear.

  • Nice!
