That's it then, the new year will see me begin the transition. First I'll eat the cooked vegetables, then the raw fruit and vegetables. I'm so tired of being sick and tired, I want to have energy again, and when I get it, I want to keep it, so I'll continue, to be vegan. Only problem is organic food is not in great suppy here in Ireland, so I'll have to grow my own, via aquaponics, cept I'm not gonna eat the fish, maybe I'll release them into a freshwater lake. videos like this remind me why i'm proud to be a vegetarian. i just got into an argument with a friend who said "i know factory farming is sad, but people will never give up delicious cheap meat for animal rights." made me want to cry. 27 years old, 20 years without meat, and going strong!

I suppose there's some irony in the fact that I'm watching this while eating a steak.

With just a little bit of creativity we can make plant matter look, smell and taste like meat. Not that that's a good thing. Truth is, we can't trust meat anymore. It's jacked with toxins, hormones and antibiotics. I love burgers, bacon, fried chicken, shrimp etc. but the writing is on the wall now as our food supply can no longer be trusted. If I want to truly reach my physical and spiritual peak I have to climb aboard the meat wagon. In order I will drop: A. Pork B. Beef C. Seafood D. Poultry.

Obese farm animals are eaten by obese humans, who are eaten by starving children... Im a omnivore so I'll comment. Meat is cruel? no so i believe since one needs to kill something (plants) first inorder to eat it. Unnecessary? Your right its not necessary for humans to eat meat but for a ecosystem to function there must be carnivores. Polluting? Sure if its factory farmed, but do you see any pollution in a untouched wilderness where carnivores exist? I dont. Destroying the planet? other omnivorous organisms seem to live in balance with nature unlike humans. Peace and love...
