  • This is REAL!! I have broken many Pelican cases.. The best out there is Starlight Cases.. i will put up $10k in a torture test against Pelican.. Starlight vs Pelican.. any time, any place.. contact me and put the money up!!

  • *still laughing my ass off* the o-ring wouldnt fly off of the lid like that either!

  • lmfao. i work for Pelican Products building these cases. this will most definitely not happen if you were to drop it from that high! *still laughing my ass off*

  • RIGGED.

  • @xadacka..... haha they just threw it of the work balcony .... I am pretty sure it was not rigged. Shit breaks sometimes .... I have had hard cases (not Pelican) fail with full loads just doing long haul plane travel. This seems a little more intense than that... I was suprised it broke .... they are a great product either way.

  • WATCH THIS VIDEO IT IS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME DROP!!!!!!!!!

    PELICAN CASE TORTURE TEST.

  • Man you didn't even close it right it slipped when you closed it so this isnt precise. I have a peli case and i dropped it from 30 meters and it did nothing sooo your test sucks

  • looks to me like the hinges broke first witch should not happen the latches should be the first to fail so to me it seems like theres foul play involved.

  • Thanks for this video. Pelican leads up to believe these are indestructible but they are clearly easily broken.

  • If some d-bag threw their gear off a four story building onto the cement then I would hope the case would break open and everything inside break. The case was built to withstand around a 20ft. drop.

  • i always put massive cable ties around mine so if the hinges broke the stuff inside wouldn't go everywhere and smash

  • Hey, was this the 1500 case?

  • good thing pelican is gonna replace it.

you breake it - we replace it! periode.

Think I`m gonna do that wit one of mine too ...

  • This is why i bought a HPRC over a Pelican. They have a video where they throw a HPRC case off the Vermont Monument which is a 200' drop and the glass bottles inside survived.

  • Ya think maybe it survived because they dropped it on a lawn versys cement, good grief...

  • non lhai chiusa bene scemo... You've not close it too...

  • they rigged it i dropped mine off of a 4 story house and it was fine

  • Mate....they just threw the thing..no rigging at all...Maybe every now and then it happens??

  • I actually thought it would have survived.

  • well I guess It can't survive from that altitude

  • I love you Lars

  • Robust!
