Just put this up, using a G5rv, Windom 10/40 and a Comet h-422. beats them all and is very quiet, the more distant the station the better the difference....
Okay, some nice photos but it would be good to see a proper test on both CB and 10 meter ham frequencies. Please carry out localised QSOs on the CB FM frequencies and also the 10 meter FM frequencies. Give us reports of SWR readings on both CB and 10 m. The antenna is marketed as a CB and 10 meter antenna, does this mean the SWR is good on both of them at the same time, or is it one or the other?. Really appreciate your videos, but a little more information would be appreciated. 73 Penn
@0ndrous I compared it with at the same height an Antron99, Imax 2000 and a 1/2 venom antenna. They were all installed on same length poles. Power was the same, same radio was used and the people that were spoken with did not know which antenna was being used at any given time as not to prejedice it.
@simonthewizard Sounds like a good test but what was the outcome?
I'm expecting a lot, though I have decades of witnessing metal 5/8 stomp everything I've put against it if Sirio have their act together as well as their claims imply this should dominate!
I'd hate to put my old 5/8 out to pasture but I'm all about upgrading performance so I have high hopes & expectations that this will be the new reference standard for vertical omni performance.
Got it Simon, works like a vertical dipole...

OK, so have you compared it carefully in several A-B tests and found a clear winner? What were the other(s)?
How did they compare? 73!

Maybe they'll someday even offer a 5KW version?!

@simonthewizard Can you also mail the outcome of the test?

Against my SIRIO 827 which we had a signal check of 7.5 down into penzance, we then took the 827 down and put the GAINMASTER in exactly the same spot.
an awesome test.
rechecked and the signal was exactly the same down into penzance, we did notice 1/2 an S point better on receive but that was it.
A well built antenna but that's it, I see no benefits.
