  • No, it is a 270 degree at 40 thou.

  • Are you running a standard cam profile? Doesn't sound like it?

  • You will have to copy and paste the links as youtube does not allow h t t p links.

  • Here is the bike in action.

    youtube.com/user/kiwiavi#p/a/u/0/lMsGv0ovG-c

  • The bike produces about 18.5 hp at the back wheel.

See the new frame. About 160 lb

marshland.co.nz/CB150Frame.html _Not sure how you make 120 lb as everything on my bike is made from thinwall tube and aly.. Maybe the slicks add to my weight.

  • 18hp? how much does the bike weigh? ive got my 125 putting down 14hp and the weight is down to 120lbs. rad bike man

  • HMM still think you will get humped by loads of125lc`s of the same decade , as the unrestricted versions were pushing 21bhp (standard) along with kawasaki`s AR 125 21BHP and yamahas 125lc . Been intresting , but i feel using what is basicaly a low reving CG125 engine was a bit of flogging a dead horse even when giving it an extra 25cc .

  • It was Graham Harris's dyno but I now have my own one in the shed.

  • what happens at like 3:41,its like the bike hits the powerband even though its not 2 stroke ?

  • 4 Stroke can have a powerband when the cam exhaust and intake length all come together. My latest exhaust pipe is really good and has a 2 stoke rasp when the power comes in. When racing against Suzuki's RG150cc (2 stokes) this weekend, I powered out the corners much faster than them but they caught me on the main straight. See marshland.co.nz for the new frame under Racing.

  • @kiwiavi how do you get them to come together exactly ?

  • @deathmetaldude468 7 exhausts, 2 cams, 5 intake manifolds, etc later. It helps that I have a dyno in my shed.

I have added my latest dyno plots.

    Try this link marshland.co.nz/ftp/CB150/DynoRun.JPG.

  • @kiwiavi lol new zealand one of the few countries in the world that allow two stoke bikes :D

  • @deathmetaldude468 All engines run best at a certain RPM, 2 stroke or not, but its more noticeable in small and tuned engines. A stock CB100 kicks at about 6000 RPM.

  • sticking it to the 2stoke bummers ;)

  • Well done fella! Great job. Makes me want to do that to mine...

  • all that work to get what a cr85 motor produces stock...

  • We are not allowed race bike motors in F4 racing. Standard road bike motors only.

100cc 2 stroke water cooled, 125 cc air cooled with 26 mm max carb and 150 cc 4 stroke. I had a lot of fun getting 18 hp from a 1980 motor. Cheers Wallace

  • @kiwiavi

Any air cooled older two stroke motor can be opened up to some decent horse power, what was spent on this bike would have built you 20-30hp 2 stroke.

  • @factoryXperimental and what's wrong with an underdog ?

  • @fukwiththestars

well it depends, do you want to win races or do you like to cruise?

  • @factoryXperimental maybe you should watch a few bucket races before making that assumption

  • @fukwiththestars

another thing you need to look at is reliability, and this is not the answer.

  • @factoryXperimental ow i know a 4t overrunning that much i doubt will be much more reliable than a 2stroke and cost more to fix but what would the world be without underdogs and in my opinion a better sound :P

  • @fukwiththestars

okay I beg to differ. what makes a 4 stroke more reliable?? The extra moving parts? LOL tell me, can you put a 300cc larger cylinder on this bike and expect some reliability? fuck no. And as for under dogs, going fast isn't for everyone.

  • @factoryXperimental Don't let me tell you how engines work... allot of people do like underdogs i for one am one of them.

  • @fukwiththestars

No, don't let me tell you how motors work, and underdogs are for people that enjoy going 25mph under other racers.

  • From what I've read, it appears to not affect the performance. Look at the Britten for bends in the exhaust pipes. I suppose there will always be a compromise. Straight would be best, but sometimes the bends might not be ideal but it means that you can have a pipe that fits the bike. So instead of 100% and a pipe that scrapes on every corner, 90% is better with no touching.

  • the bend on your header dosnt affect flow/ performance?

  • Awesome man! Now... get some footage of you racing this puppy! I don't think my FXR puts out that kind of power at all. I need to work on it
