It's hard to deny that Kiarostami was not influenced by the French New Wave in Cinema, however, I do not think, that the similarities are enough to conclude that Kiarostami barrowed or simply took his scenes from those films. His philosophy in filmmaking can be more compared to Bresson than Truffaut; Kiarostami is not story-wise or technique-wise as manipulative as Truffaut, or he does not dolly-shots like him...
Absolutely agree in comparing Kiarostami with Bresson better than Truffaut, but... this video have not pretensions is just a joke with some images gaming in different spaces and childs views.
Comparing Kiarostami with Truffaut does not make much sense.Ozu and Bresson seems to be better choices.
