Let's Play Kirby's Dreamland Extra Game Mode Ep. 1

one, thank you for uploading this, i just got (and beat for the first time ever, as the last time i played i was five) this game on the virtual console, and i could not activate this mode because it was up a select not up a start, which you showing the extra mode title screen showed me. and it is true, this game mode IS hard.

i got my butt handed to me in the first level of a kirby game, normaly a job for the final boss :P (though i did only play for one life, as it is late at night)

@sebasbrawler It doesn't matter which one you play first. The main Kirby "trilogy" is KDL2 > KDL3 > Kirby 64 (but only if you find all of those games' secret final bosses!). This game is practically separate from the rest.

Oh man I remember this game as my first gameboy game ever, I also remember accidentally triggering extra game mode after a playthrough and thinking I stumbled across the biggest secret ever. Thanks for the nostalgia burst

so this is the first kirby game cool i just have kirbys adventure its cool that this game is black and white well thats just how games where back then i gess wait wow the pink puff ball kirby was really first a white puff ball until there was color

@Coolpikmin Well, this is a harder difficulty, so they weren't THIS difficult. I couldn't believe that Kirby wasn't pink in his first game as well when I found the game.

@I8Strudel Kirby has always been pink. The boxart in Japan shows a pink kirby, but they didn't know if they would keep him pink in American since the whole "tough and pink" thing didn't really fly back then. So in america, they just kept him white for the time being. I heard they were going to change his color in the USA to Green or Yellow! lol

i have an easy way to beat the dude with the bombs (that does the speed move). just stand n front of him and keep sucking in air... all the bombs will miss except one which you suck in and kill him with straight afterwards he doesnt even touch you! :D
