In a way this movie is very similar to eureka 7. Mei and gabu, Renton and Eureka two different creatures who have a passion for eachother. No matter what tries to split them up the strenght of there love for each other will always keep them together.

If you're lucky enough to love someone romantically *and* then still love them once the romance is gone, well, count yourself lucky. But Gabu and Mei share the love of two close and dedicated friends.

That's actually quite a common thing we found with the people we tested the song with before we committed to it; it's markedly different to "Star" but works well and tends to stick in peoples' heads. Glad it grew on you.
