it is gr8, how can i use wildcard to count sale of a prodcuct on a specified date.. please advice. smilarly to find the count of product sale per sales person
The two methods that Mr Excel showed are clearly the best for most Excel users (The vast majority of people do not know how to use wildcards or the ampersand). The method that I used is clearly best because it shows all three at once.
I think it is a good solution for this dual approach.Having 2 solutions help you to understand much better and faster the solutions. Why do you want to keep the videos under 5 min?Mike has awesome videos on his channel but none of those awesome videos are under 5 min, since he is explaining everything in great detail.Bottom line: awesome video and Mike's idea seems more appealing. You aare doing an excellent job.

I liked yours because of the ability to use dynamic criteria. It's the same reason I liked MrExcel's method better on the last lookup challenge.
You're both awesome!

Dear Team,
3 methods to make different sorts of people happy:
1) Filter & SUBTOTAL solution good for: a) Don't mess with criteria syntax b) Works in all versions
2) Table & SUBTOTAL solution good for: a) Don't mess with criteria syntax b) Works only in 2003 & 2007
3) COUNTIF and criteria syntax solution good for: a) Mess with criteria syntax b) Works in all versions
