If you think just because he is playin in class A means that its easy and he will not be a good college back, think back to Herschal Walker who played in class A and became the greatest back in Georgia's History.
Redshirt him then next season Moreno will be gone and this guy will be second string but will get alot of touches and maybe be a good kick returner....maybe he show something and maybe a starter depends on his hands since UGA runs alot of screens
This guy looks good and all but the problem is would he have the patience to sit behind Knowshon and Caleb King. I think when Knowshon leaves, King would become the starter then Ealy would be the second head to the RB tandem
Lumpkin was never near the 4.4s and I believe he was listed in that range. If Ealey runs anywhere in the 4.4s, that is speed. Listed anywhere in the rivals 100 is amazing but it does not alway mean player maker. It is a deep RB class. Knowshown barely made the 100. Brandon Miller was in the top 10 and look at how many plays he made: 0. Who knows but hopefully we will see.
we played against ECI at Pass League, i missed it but my friend was there. and he ran all over our team. he's very good.. our team has to get better tho. -SEBHS Jackets-
ur not gonna like this answer but...he plays in Class A football. Which is okay but the level of competition is inferior to that of say a 6A school like shaw high school of columbus or Brookwood and GAC of Atlanta. with that being said, I still disagree with that ranking. The guy obviously has rediculous skills and plays very hard. He's got size, speed, agility, and a nose for the endzone.
i live in columbus and go to northside which has only won two games this year. but is surpirsing that shaw is 2-5 and the are in region 1-AAA im looking at their record in the paper
u know...this is one area where I will agree with you. but if anyone has a chance to do it next year it is certainly georgia. We are 3 deep at almost every position.
yes when he starts his first game he will be awesome and he will win a heisman and go dawn has the best ever Georgia bulldogs running back

I have loved the Dawgs for 30 years. The best ever? Let's not forget Herschel Walker.

I can certainly see them making that mistake.

Am a huge Dawg fan....But where did the 4.32 come from?
Rivals has him at 4.45 which is usually is correct on an offical combine time.
BigDDe 3 years ago
actually it was a mistake that the AJC made back when I made this video. He has cleared that all up now. He's a legit 4.4 guy.

We are already so deep at RB... Ealey is gonna have to take a redshirt but he's gonna own the field for 2 years.

Don't worry, if he is the real deal it will show in due time and the Rivals ranking will be meaningless.

Georgia is going to ROLL through the SEC with guys like Ealey!
