Now I'm confused since DOA: UE was only for the Xbox. So is the video title wrong? You must be emulating the DC version of the game.

and 4 was just a redemption of 3

but 2 was and is by far the superior game.

Of course you can run a ps2 game smoothly on a pc... LOL. You just need to know how. However... DOA 2 cannot be ran by PCSX2 sadly, so we must make with the dreamcast version which is awesome if you ask me and it runs SMOOTH on the pc.

NullDC is pretty great. I can run this at full speed no problem with just a piece of shit AMD Sempron 2200 dual-core @ 2.0Ghz.

Dead or Alive Ultimate Edition is just someone's modded Japanese Dead or Alive 2 Limited edition for dreamcast. Most of the so called mods are just simple color changes and very basic texture edits, nothing to really call it Ultimate Honestly.

Oh and if you still dont believe this is real as people have said earlier its just the dreamcast game not doa2 hardcore for ps2 or doa ultimate for xbox like the title would make you think.

Does somebody have an idea, why I can't hear some speeking voices in the cutscenes?

For Example:

I can hear if I beat vs Ayane in Helena Storymod: "Bumeykah" (spelled like this) And not the hole speeking. I use the DC version.

4y4u, may you please list the settings that you used to get DoA2 running at this speed? Mine is running at 50FPS (due to it being the PAL version) but it feels like it's running in bullet time (if that makes sense)

That's true, it is crap but its what most laptops ship with. However, after searching I found there is a patch that allows it to 'run' the emulator. Its not really playable but its useful for anyone who wants to experiment though.

I just tried it out on my other PCs and I can confirm this emulator still doesnt run on Intel GMA 950s which is bad news for most laptop and all netbook owners. Its a program bug rather than any lack of capability on the GMA. On my low end Nvidia Ion system it runs flawlessly.

Emulators always require a good CPU more then anything else some like the ps2 emu need an really good CPU i had a 2.4ghz duel core and games were slow till i overclocked my CPU to 3.2ghz

At the time i made this statement my specs were AMD X2 at 2.8ghz a core!! the emulator only uses one core so you wont see any difference in performance. My on board video was a Nvidia 6150 LE 256 MB.. and i had 3gig of ram!! that extra ram would make no difference either since i do not have a 64 bit operating system.

@coolerkiller2009 OHHH thats where your wrong sir!! I can run Final Fantasy 10 around 45fps on my 2.8ghz dual core!! and thats good for such a low end requirement. To run these gam es smooth on a ps2 emulator you would need a 3.7 ghz dual core.. And yea it can be done.. :D

more costumes, bit better pic quality, the gallery, and some other stuff - tecmo/team ninja thought that with DoA 2 they didn't QUITE get the fighting game they wanted - so there are about 11 versions of DoA2 or so.

hang on, do that slowly again. Had some problem - I changed the sound plugin to the null AICA (didn't have a nullDC in it?) and the video from chankast, got the right winhook plugin, too.

But it's still slow - now it doesn't even really boot.
