What do I wish? I wish the ending of the series outro is this. Desmond has vanquished the Templars and brought a forever lasting peace. The final scene should be Desmond's sons racing to a rooftop and repeating these lines and rolling the end credits with this song playing

Assassin'c Creed 2 is easily the most powerful and emotional of the games in the franchise, Ezio's story and Quest for Revenge is so fucking incredible. Assassin's Creed inspired me to make Games when i grow up, i just hope i can make games as incredible as this. Truly Ubisofts best work is right here.

1. AC II

2. AC

3. Brotherhood

4. Revelations

Brotherhood and Revelations are great games, but they just don't live up to the emotion and power behind the first two games. I guess it's because they were kind of rushed and only spent a year in development, building of AC II, just with added weapons, enemies and a new scenario. I hope Ubisoft really takes time with AC III. It's fine by me if they release it in 2013, just make it perfect

It won't be a rushed game because ALL the Ubisoft game development offices work on Assassin's Creed, that's why you've seen AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations have 18+ hours of solid story and gameplay greatness. Compare that to other yearly release and you'll see what I'm talking about.

@hungree7 Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II we're the best two games in the series, mainly because the developers weren't going for the yearly release times that Brotherhood and Revelations had. Assassin's Creed III is going to have a yearly release time, so I'm just seeing it as another Brotherhood/Revelations. The best games that come out don't have a time limit. Also I don't see how you managed to squeeze 18 hours of the story in any of those games, honestly. More like 10.

Both Brotherhood and Revelations have given the franchise enough funds to end this epic history with a blast in AC3, trust me. I spend quite the time completing all side quests and everything collectible.

@hungree7 I'm not saying it won't be good, I'm just saying that there's a low chance that it will be better than AC1 and 2 since it's completed in the same thime as Brotherhood and Revelations, and this one has a time limit end of November to be released. Brotherhood and Revelations were extremely good games, I have no doubts that AC3 will be absolutely amazing either, but if they were to spend more time on those games, holy crap they would have been even better.

When I first saw the intro when playing it on Christmas 2009, I couldn't even believe it was called "Assassin's Creed II"! It was so lively and peaceful, not until I saw the betrayal then Ezio grabbing the assassin robes, then finally the hanging. That's when I knew the story would change!

i first played assassins creed when i borrowed it form a friend my freshman year in college, i liked it and figured id play the second. so i borrowed it, put it in and this scene is what ultimately sold me on the fact this is the greatest game series of all time. ac2 was phenomenal. the story, the music, the characters, the setting. its a masterpiece. and im not a game geek.
