i dont like this ice clone combos. you cant land them if your opponent is not fuckin stoned :P but good work. btw i realy like this one : jump in with2 then back1,2,down forward3, jump in again with 2 then 2,1,4 slide (enhanced if you want^^) or jump in again with 2 then 2,1,2,xray. this is simple to land and the damage is nice :) (but im not sure if it still works and if the dmg is the same bcause i didnt patched the game yet)

I forgot about the combos in this video, so when I did combo #7, I thought it was my own and I told my friend about how I came up with it without copying anyone. I even thought of posting it on Youtube. Now i have to retract my statement and I can't call it my own or post it on Youtube because you did it first (Sigh).

also, a good and simple attack with sub-zero to an opponent who is alwais blocking down is "forward+circle". Sub-0 will stamp his foot in the mouth of his opponent. You can freeze right after pressing the buttons also, or press square+triangle at the same time.

I like this video, but I just can't pull off the combos. My clone breaks when I'm trying to do #1 so I can only do the second half, even when I enhance it. I also can't press square (or in my case X since i have the 360) that many times in a row. I guess I'll try other characters. Oh by the way did you see the new EVO tournament? Those MK players are awesome. Did you think of entering? They pulled off combos that impressed me a lot. If you didn't see it, the matches are on Youtube.

But I think the ex grundfreeze is missing.

Specially to punish standing blockers the groundfreeze is really cool, even if it takes pretty long to pull it off. Another good way to punish standing blockers is back+ squre, triangle, circle and then the groundfreeze. Many people will be trapped by the freeze while recovering from the sweep.

yea i fight alot of subzero on 360 that use the ice clone style and they love to find way to trap u to it. the most common is doing the punch, punch, kick, ice clone or just ice clone and either shot iceball or do the slide to zone u. good stuff man. still trying to learn shang lol.

Damn, this shit is HOT. We must think alike man lol, I have been working on a Sub Zero Combo Compilation for the last couple of days and just got it posted up. Its got some new concepts in it where I use the Enhanced Ground Freeze to link the combo and keep it going after the opponent is frozen in the air. Its about 8 minutes long full of Sub Zero combos and Sub Zero TAG combos. Its tight so check it out when you get a chance.

The combo system in this game is all busted up, and the characters are all unbalanced in the worst fashion. They keep nerfing characters like every other week. The fact that they took away Sub-Zero's midscreen kick at the end of his 2,2,4 when you do a pop up combo says it all about the combo system. I remember when you would be able to do it and connect the slide at the end. watch, soon the combo system will be every hit will equal 1% damage so a 15 hit will be 15% damage.

( have to do the Slide at the right moment ) Not a fat chance those blockers will hold down and block when the combo is going smoothly. that damage is 37 or 38 % and a method that rarely I've seen.

Some tips: Sweep them a lot; then when they instinctively block low do the Big Leg into Ice Blast.

Do 224 Clone a couple times... then 22 Slide their ass. Next time 222 will likely work since the last hit is an overhead. Mix and match at will.

22 is a beast move... it has incredible range and even covers some of Sub Zero's back... you can do 22 a couple times, hit confirm into Ice Blast, or 224, or 22 cancel into Clone, 22 Slide, 222... vast number of possibilities.
