  • Permits are required for any sort of collecting. Since I only take photographs

    it still remains a slightly 'grey' area in the eyes of the Malaysian authority

    but to be safe I always obtain a special activity permit before i place my

    traps in any national parks. Not all evenings are as good as this one.

    We had poor results in the same place in late Jan this year alough I did

    catch my first ever death's head albeit the asian version 'acherontia lachesis'
