Never heard this....just amazing......blew my mind man....If you put all the recordings of Jimi together one after the other from 1966 to 1970 there would be little time left for him to eat and sleep! Wow,this was great, thank you!
Hi Eric...love your pictures on the clip too. ...that was some beard!! Is that also you at 2.40 in the starry shirt??...Cool...and Hot! LOL....Rolling stone is one of my favourite Dylan songs, and this is a great version, thanks for posting it :0)
Dylan was such an awesome song writer. Hendrix totally kicked his ass as musician though. You can hear Dylan's influence in Wind Cries Mary. very dylan like lyrics.
ericoxendine you jammed w/Hendrix & BB King? WOW!!!!!! Just when you think you heard it all from Hendrix someone pulls a different pc from the vault. Fucken Great. Thank you....
He was going to be free, creatively and professionally, for the first time in his all too brief career.
All the lies and propaganda and disinformation, about Jimi in particular and so many events in the distant and recent past can make ones head spin.
Can you imagine if Jimi could have taken a couple years off from incessant touring for Michael Jeffries - and actually studied theory? And Brahms, Handel, Bach etc.
studying what?? he had it all in his mind man listen to the beginning of hey bay its a symphonic orchestra arrangement played by a rock band listen carefyully and you will notice the greatness of the arangement ... havent you ever noticed that part?? take yopur time and .... just try to play the intro we only look at easy jimi hendrix songs these are the songs to comment on .. check it out
Thanks for listening, Marc. Anything would be a different vibe, for sure, after having the honor and pleasure of playing music with Jimi Hendrix ! What happened two nights after ? Your Friend, Eric Oxendine
In answer to your question, COINTELPRO took the life Martin Luther King. How ironic that a little over two years later, Jimi himself would be taken from us by those same people.
He was "water-boarded" with red wine, you know. Jimi was a social drinker by all accounts, as I am sure you know. And I am sure you know he did not overdose -- or commit suicide, for goodness sakes.
Fab, wondeful!
I love it!

"studying what?"
FACT: Had Jimi taken time off to study music formally, it would have only enhanced his talent.
