@Naut cool... I got the same one..... I prefer the 506 wood finnish over the black on the 706.... and I don't think the difference between the two models is worth the extra $100.

does your 506 have the mid switch or is it an early version?

Sound is very creep and effective. Its rhythm different from fingermoran and other bassist. It has bit of Cliff Burton style and that's what I like about it. Its different and that's what you need these days something different that will be effective. The effects are insane by the way.

yeah, i had no idea that it was going to come out so long. that's what kind of turned me off of it. i have a fairly short attention span too.
