Id rather take accuracy over distance. If i could stick a 8 iron to 5 feet from 110 yards or from 130 yards and hit it 15 away from the cup i would take accuracy overall.

You only hit an 8 iron 110 yards? You don't look that small so there is something wrong if your only hitting it 110. I am 15 and play off 4 and can hit my Gap Wedge almost 110. So there is something wrong there. But not that bad of a swing other than your lack of distance.

I'm 14, and i hit my 8 iron around 140-150 consistently. You you need to keep your head still and rotate more around your hips. Don't try and kill the ball, just make sure you hit it in the speet spot with decent speed and rotation.

I find it hard to believe you cant hit far AT all but yet you are a 11 handicap. You should be able to hit a PW 110 yards. A 9 iron would be pushing it.

hey, i suggest you get adult clubs becuase your 14, and jnr sets only go up to 14. Because that will help your distance a lot. But good swing. nice left handed-ness! you can get cheap golf clubs for left handers, i saw a 2 dollar iron. and 10 dollar drivers for left handers from golf mart.

8 iron i hit anywhere from 150 - 168. It all depends on what kind of shot i hit.... normally i hit a draw and it goes a little over 160...... u dont need to do crap to ur golf swing.. u just need to stick with hitting the balls where u want them to go and distance will come to you as u get older. one advice for you... Dont take advices that dont make sense to you..

yer with my short irons i do need to work on the distance they are way below average!! though i do tend to treate 7 downwards as accuracy clubs not distance clubs and therefore have a softer swing

Good you've got some sense, It's not all about the distance, and I'm not saying that because i can't hit it far. If you can get your 7 and below accurate and on target, it doesn't matter about distance. Keep posting.

thanks for the comment, you have pretty good swing just try to keep your back foot planted on the ground through impact. thats about where i was when i was 14, just start pumpin some iron n practice putting.
