  • the gop as always would rather destroy the country than end the bush era tax cuts. they'll rather put seniors out on the street by cutting their social security checks than make the Koch brothers and likes pay a dime more. and IMO that is immoral, and wicked. how can anyone who's not a millionaire vote Republican? I mean how much can some people be brainwashed to follow this idiots. they hate the middle and lower class and would give a damn about us.how can people buy this socialist agenda crap

  • America ROCK´s!!!

    Greetings from Germany

  • let FREEDOM RING!!!!

  • No one took your country. You just lost an election. Stop overreacting.

  • Apparently SOME people on here don't get the meaning of the song or the Tea Party movement. Its about taking our country back from big government and stopping it from pushing everyone around. If the founding fathers were alive today, they would be standing right along side of the Tea Party, no doubt. Government needs to go on a serious diet. On November 2nd the diet begins and the Liberals will be booted to the curb...That won't make the freeloaders in life happy, they'll have to go to work. LOL

  • Wow! What a really self speaking song!

  • I really don't like country music. This one, eh, really isn't an exception. But I love the lyrics. :)

  • I wonder why people that aren't very intelligent always prefer "country" music... Every song and every singer sound exactly the same...I guess they like hearing the same thing over and over, like the propaganda they tend to believe...

  • All I see is a bunch of people whinning and complaining about "Getting their America Back", which is just code speak, but none of them talking about what they are willing to do to make it better. It's ALWAYS easier to btch and moan about what you don't like, A lot harder to man/woman up and do something about it. They aren't going to give up their "Social programs" yet they also don't want to be taxed to pay for them. Typical modern day white America. All talk, no action.

  • @Ebonyleopard The constitution has some fairly good ideas concerning what makes a country great. Perhaps we might want to return to it. And talk about being simplistic...using the race card as the answer to every conservative argument is just about as simplistic as it gets. Also, if you think John Berry's voice is typical you simply were not paying attention.

  • @mebanedeac47

You're right. I wonder how anybody could be getting the wrong idea about the tea party and how race gets involved (of course you'd have to ignore the fact that the crowds just happen to be made of one specific race and ignore some of the 'questionable' signs that appeared at them and no one saying anything about them, and ignore some of the recorded audio of what some people have shouted at them, ect, ect. Its just like a picnic in the park of all the cultures coming together.

  • @Ebonyleopard A typical comment by a dumbass black racist...Are you willing to give up your welfare check and stop popping out babies for the check? We are the people that actually pay taxes in this country, we'd like a little bang for our tax dollars, instead of giving it to some suck ass like yourself...Its time for YOU to man/woman up!

  • @RogueGoverment Sorry friend. Can't live up to your stereotype. I have a 2 college degrees, a master's degree, and 6 more credits beyond that, make over $45K a year, am a property owner, and pay enough taxes to get a nice refund in April. Maybe, with a little more education on your part, you'd be able to figure out how to achieve all of that yourself instead of whining about wanting back that which has never gone anywhere. Be an American and go DO something, don't blame others for your lacking.

  • @Ebonyleopard You're living up to my comments already, you wouldn't have made such a dumbass post if you ACTUALLY had an education (high school and some community college at the very least). You're not paying taxes if you're getting a refund. WOW, you're only making 45K a year with all of that supposed education. Please, get back with us when you're making 6 figures, own several businesses and traveled the world a bit. I pay MORE than 45K a year in taxes and that is AFTER deductions...LOL.

  • @RogueGoverment

It's called tax breaks and paying more taxes up front (and knowing how to actually fill out a tax return form).

And don't hate and let your prejudice cloud your ability to comprehend that a person of color actually has out life performed you. Surely just because you haven't done something doesn't mean someone else hasn't or cant. I'm an artist, I'm known around the world and living in a state were my income puts me in the top bracket of paid employees. I pray for your happiness

  • @Ebonyleopard This is the typical black racist ideology, you can't make it in life so you blame all of your woes in life on da white man (hes holding you back because you're black). Please spare us all the crap, we've heard it all before. Get a clue, pull your pants up, speak English (ebonics doesn't count) and get an education. If you do the the aforementioned you might have a chance to make something of yourself instead of coming on here and calling everyone that YOU don't agree with a racist.

  • @RogueGoverment

I blame absolutely nothing on the white man. I worked hard and got where I am by self determination regardless of the obstacles and stereotypes thrown my way. A "white man" can't hold me back because I refuse to allow anyone to prevent me from achieving a goal I set my mind to get. I've made more of myself than you will ever dream of achieving which is why I find you so amusing. I'm your worst nightmare. An educated black man with $ and you don't know what to do with me. :)

  • @Ebonyleopard Actually you're amusing to me! You're on here making pretend you have an education and we all know you don't. You call people that are standing up for themselves and our country racists, this SHOWS your lack of education. When you've been around a little while and you've seen the world and have experienced life outside of your little cocoon then someone might actually listen to what you have to say, until then, you, should get off of mommy's computer and go to bed or read a book.

  • @RogueGoverment

Heh, well, hope you have you Food Insurance, because ultimately what you do or don't believe is of no concern to me. Paychecks come every 2 weeks whether you believe I get them or not. I still sit here in my nice warm house typing on my computer, with zero debt to my name save for my mortgage (who's next payment isn't due until 1/12) Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Gays, etc aren't going anywhere & you'll still be paranoid about your 50s all white America no longer existing. Change

  • @Ebonyleopard Maybe you should worry about me! If I stop paying taxes along with a bunch of other taxpayers your ass won't be able to freeload off of the hard work of others. Yes! You'll have to pay your own way in life for a change instead of relying on the taxpayers to pay your way. Now, without further delay, I'm going to discard you to the scrap heap with the rest of your ilk. I have business's to run so you can keep freeloading off of society! God, why don't you people get an education!

  • The thing I absolutely cannot agree on is this defecit and borrowing from China, who hates US and would be happy to take US over. Democrats, this is not the way.

  • Anyone know what CD this song is on ??

  • I want my America back from the scaryones in office

  • I live up North and I want what Most americans want. a Free Country, where I can say what I want when I want without fear of what I say might be cause for me to be thrown in Prison or sent to a Gulag Facility for "re education"

If that makes me a redneck then I am damn proiud to be one.

  • Yeah.....and look at the dismal failure these programs are! Social Security....bankrupt! Medicare....bankrupt!!! And the VA Hospitals??? Talk to our hero Veterans about that!!!!

  • Why? Where has your America gone, and exactly back to what? I've alway wondered about that. Where has America gone in 8 months except for the fact it's got a 50% black man in office now? I assume you want GW Bush back (as if his imprint isn't still be felt now as it is).

  • Bush, Clinton, Obama, Carter etc. are all the same progressive jerks, taking this country in the same direction. We need to bring America back to the simple basic principles this country was founded on. ALL of these bums in government need to read the constitution and may I add, you may want to read it too.

  • I don't know if I want to go back to the "simple basic principles this country was founded on", because those foundations allowed for years of discrimination racially and genderwise. Assuming one is to believe that the country has suddenly moved away from that in 11 months (which I don't).

  • @Ebonyleopard Right, there is a way, but definately not borrowing US into oblivion, not sound business practices. And greedy fatcats will brink US down.

  • @Ebonyleopard Of course you don't, because you're a racist yourself...You're the perfect Liberal sheep, bah bah...Take another drink of the Liberal Kool-Aid, you'll vote for same party that has continually held the black people back because you refuse to study and learn about the party you support. Google the Black Republican Party, they know the truth. they know history and they've learned from it. Learn about history and FACTS instead of repeating something that someone told you to think!

  • @Ebonyleopard You really don't get it, do you! It isn't about the man in the White House or the last "8 months", its been going a lot longer than that. ITS ABOUT CONGRESS and its been going on for decades, get a phucking clue you ignorant racist! Bush and Obama are the same you dumb ass. Presidents don't make laws, they sign bills into law that Congress puts on their desk. Take a basic course in civics, learn how our government works and grow the hell up!

  • @RogueGoverment So says the guy that spells fucking 'phucking'. If what you say you stand for is true, then more power to you (it's not real world practical, but whatever, wish you were around say 8yrs ago). However, your continued assumptions about my education makes your argument fall flat and makes you come off in a way you probably don't want to (if it quacks like a duck, etc). Also, never called tea party racist in any reply I made. Their signs & some members' actions do raise questions.

  • @Ebonyleopard Every time you post your nonsense you remove all doubt that you have no clue about real life and that you have absolutely no education whatsoever...My guess is that you haven't even graduated high school. I'd tell you to buy a clue but it would cost the taxpayers more money, instead, just go bury your head back in the Liberal sand pile and stick your hand out for your free stuff, courtesy of taxpayers like me...Loser!

  • The Native Americans want there America back too......losers!!!

  • Give me my America back? There are 300 million Americans, to assume its yours to have is pretty pompous. Universal health care should be a matter of national pride anyway.

  • Great song, great voice. This man loves his country.

  • Fabulous song and video. Love the pictures. Love the line "worship my God like my father did - without interference from Capitol Hill." Amen.

Government, get your filthy paws off my silky drawers!

My Body, My Life, My Healthcare!

  • YAY!

  • John Berry is an awesome singer. The words of the song are great. I especially love the part about God. I have met John many times before and he is ALWAYS very nice and takes time for each and everyone who comes to see him.

  • Is Brad Paisley a singer or a politician?

I've Googled him,he is a singer?,Watched and listened to several videos.Very popular commercial artist,a lot of stage presence, well produced videos with beautiful girls. Some would think he is very good looking which helps a lot.But the tone of his voice is deadpan, couldn't listen to him for very long. No he is not Brad Paisley. He is John Berry, a singer with a beautiful expressive voice,he just has to stand and sing and write straight from his heart .

  • If people would only listen to the words of the song and know what they are saying before commenting. John Berry is 100% a God loving American and comes from a hard working family that did not take handouts. Love the message and song.

  • Translation: sour grapes from paranoid, ideological nincumpoops.

"Give me back my America" means simply "We lost, so now we're going to cry and pretend that America is under threat so I can pretend I'm a patriot"

Keep your private healthcare, moran. And if you want to blame someone for your current deficits call 1-800-GW-BUSH.

  • Call the WAAAAHmbulance! Jesus said we should help the poor and oppressed, not be greedy and call them lazy because they're having problems and CAN'T GET JOBS!

  • No Brad Paisley, that's for sure!! HAHA... losers!

  • Don't know much about playing the guitar, but it sounds pretty good to me.

  • mustardman29

What ever has to be done...

  • Hi,thanks for posting Johns latest song.Very emotive lyrics.John puts the power ,the pain, the passion and the patriotism into whatever type of song he sings and writes, this one being no exception. The power of music,it can tell a story, stir the emotions or just to listen to and enjoy Johns amazing voice.

  • I was at this rally too. I was the one selling the hotdogs that I put between my butt-cheeks to "real Americun patriots". I made loads of cash that day!

  • LiquidTokyo, you are an idiot. I'm sure you are one of those that need the government handouts, food stamp, housing, healtcare...what a worthless peice you are.

  • Holy shit this was a pathetic piece of garbage. I made it through 50 seconds of this shit before the odor started to pour forth from my monitor.

    Music by: Guitarded

    Lyrics by: Blubbering Vagina

Please save your future musical endeavors for "grab-ass cowboy campfire nights" at boy-scout meetings. Better yet, take your guitar, and smash it against your face.

  • One way for this "musician" to have perfect pitch, would be if he took his guitar, tossed it into the dumpster, and got it in on the first try!

  • Mr.Berry we hold ELECTIONS in this country....when your beloved Republicans learns how to win elections....maybe then you "have your country back". He sings about working people....yet Republicans don't give a damn about working people. I don't understand how the working class supports a bunch who puts the interests of the wealthy above everyone else.....

  • Like the dems care about anyone!! It's all a power grab to take away our freedoms. This is just another freedom and choice that is being taken under government control. Are you so weak that you need a govenment to provide for you? I am sure some people need that. There are those that do not need or want that help. It seems you are one of those that NEED the government hand out.

  • Yeah, right, the dems care about nobody and nothing.

And the proposed health reforms are "government run" health care, and not simply a public insurance option as is actually described in the bill.

Keep up the lies. It's making Republicans look like....well, liars.

  • Hope nobody in your family has medicare or Socialism Security.

  • vulrare

yes we do hold elections and in 2010 & 2012 we will vote and we will change it back...you man is ALREADY over!

  • Yeah, and now the Republicans don't want a majority to pass a bill in the Senate, or 60... They want 70 or 80, so says Oren Hatch. just google it.

Is THIS the country that you want, where you need 70 or 80% to get anything done. I don't. A simple majority will do for me.

  • And this, really, is what it's about. Nothing to do with health care or these bonehead lies about "socialism."

It's just pure sour grapes. The Repubs lost, so all they can do now is cry and pretend American is under attack from socialism or communism or nazism or whateverism.

You're a bunch of babies and you're hurting America, quite frankly.

  • So, ah.......tell us how you really feel!

  • a'merica! Fuck Yeah! What a stupid teabagging load of shit!

  • My goodness, your language speaks volumes about your mentality. Thank goodness the good people in this world do not have to use such language to comment

  • What some cheese for your whine?

Where was this guy when Bush said that the US Constitution was "just a piece of paper," and Gonzalez said that Habeus Corpus is a "quaint" idea?

You right wingers LOST, now suck it up like adults, and deal, instead of being crybabies.

Either that or call out the Whaaambulance!

  • BOOOO HOOOOO yah lost the election.

  • Retarded!!!

  • Thank you for posting this video! Love this song and the message it has. JB did an AWESOME job writing this and expressing what so many American's feel!

  • just pathetic.

  • The Loser theme song.

  • This is great. I attended this rally along with my 10 year old son. He really got it. My 8 daughter watched this video and started singing "Give Me Back My America". Great song too.

See you in D.C. on September 12th!!

  • Gee! Was yor beloved Sean Hannity there with his thumb in your butt too? I only pray your 8y.o. daughter doesn't grow up as retarded as you are.

  • This was a GREAT event! 12,500 American citizens coming together in a peaceful way to speak out against gov. control over HealthCare. There were people from all walks of life, doctors, nurses, politicians, small business owners, etc. I was proud to be a part of this real grassroots American movement. It is a shame that all liberals know how to do when confronted with the truth is to resort to name calling and personal attacks like some that have commented before me here and on liberal MSM news.

  • Don't you parrots ever get tired of blaming "liberals" and the "liberal media" every time people don't embrace your ideology?

Have fun with your astro turf. I'm sure FOX News has another "grass roots movement" their working on this very moment!

  • Stupid rednecks. I hope some serious illness makes them bankrupt.

  • I was at the health care meeting and i can say that it was AWESOME!!!!!

  • I was there also...and it was very AWESOME..I am ready for another one this Saturday!!
