AWESOME AMV! Seriously, as much as I value Initial D, there aren't many AMVs that capture it's essence. I love how you make the music work with the videos by integrating the lyrics with video. Examples: "fuel burning like a freight train" and you casually snapped to the 4AGE engine revving / "I push it to the floooooor!" and the speedo shot / etc. Also you seamlessly blend animated video with Inital D CG. Damn I love it!

Try not to have any other windows open and have it preloaded just a bit. It also doesn't help that the advertisements youtube put on this page bog down net connections. But, after all that has loaded it seems better for me.

@DragonInfraXtremeRGT I use apple's final cut pro, which is quite different from sony vegas (what most AMVs are made on). It's a very solid piece of software.

PERFECT. Made me go out in the garage and dig the old S2000 out of the corner to take for a midnight run through the hills!

This AMV is at 9000RPM on the limiter! The best bit is I showed friends not into cars/anime and they loved it. I think that it has such universal appeal to anyone - not just anime/Initial D junkies makes it the clear winner for me.

This and Eternal Inferno was the toughest call I've had to make in a damn long time. There was some serious pressure when the Action segment was done.

As a fellow competitor at Anime Expo, I thought this was a very good video. It has near perfect timing and concepts behind it. It has all the elements that make an excellent video.

I was also happy to hear that my Fate AMV gave him inspiration to create this AMV. That is probably the greatest compliment I could receive, honestly.

Concerning the contest itself, I was not expecting to win this year, but was pleasantly surprised when I did.

In a technical view I think your fate vid is messily done with its tacky fx and visual lack of appeal. I feel it won due to the people's recall of the music(guitar hero lawl). The audience is easily swayed (deathnote rhapsody anyone?) and it's irritating how you've trolled your vid in about every con. In a creator's view most of the amvs in the action section were poor and the entries in general were disappointing. Ready to Drift was one of the better entries in the category and won my vote.
