the movie is PG-13 because many reasons, can be violence, crawls, or may be the story is too complicated to a child of 12 years or less. if i may. I would recomend you read a book entitled "the gospel accordining to harry potter" it is an interesting read and may open your eyes somewhat. Basically it pulls all the christian points out of the HP books and movies and labels them godly much in the same way people pull occult references and label it of the devil (both of which are ridiculous of course, I am sure you'd agree). I deeply apologize if this offends you at all.

I always hear that the christian god is perfect, doesn't that mean that your christian god has absolute control over creation. Doesn't it stand to reason that your god gave his creation imagination? Are you inferring that god was wrong when Jo Rawling was created? Think carefully before you answer you can't say that god is wrong, oh wait a minute was it the devil who made Jo Rawling imagine Harry Potter. This amazing good vs. evil story and good wins is it the devil's fault?

I am a born again Christain, I dedicate my life to Jesus Christ. Here's my issue with what you posted. This is a fantasy series there is no harm in Harry Potter. I love this series and I havent never had the urge to question this series. No offense but I am just so sick of people judging this series but yet they will watch star wars or lord of the rings or the wizard of oz. I think it is hypicritical.

I was once very judgemental and it took alot of reading and sould searching to realize I was being mean and judgmental about things I did not truly understand (I had not even read what I was critizing) I then felt very ashamed of myself. Now (though not a die hard fan in anyway) I enjoy the wonderfull lessons of courage, hope and love the books and movies have to offer

According to wikipedia one reviewer said this movie to be a possible Oscar contender. While Andrew Pulver of the Guardian gives it a 3 out of 5 stars rating. But I'm still going to watch it no matter what.

Rowling in an interview said that she wrote the books for readers between 18 and 30 years old.
the movie is PG-13 because many reasons, can be violence, crawls, or may be the story is too complicated to a child of 12 years or less. I thing that the last reason can be the most important in this case. you have to think that if a child watch THIS movie, you can be sure that he will not understand all the movie. then is not advisable that children watch this movie.

How the hell is this one rated PG when the two before it were rated PG-13? I'm sorry but I don't consider this a PG type film. The first three were appropriate for that rating, but from there on the movies are just a little to dark for a way younger audience.
And for gods sake, don't mark this as a negative comment just for stating my opinion.
