Check out the literature on this subject, at least in the USA this is false: In the United States, plastic bottles of the type used for commercially sold water are regulated by the FDA as "food contact substances" and held to the same safety standards as food additives.
They pose no significant risk to human health. The water itself is also tested and must meet basic quality standards similar to those set by the Environmental Protection Agency for public drinking water.
I disagree. I have heard two different stances from the FDA. One is that all BPA products are safe for humans. The other is that most, not all (because there is no regulation) bpa harded plastics have a number on the bottom and if the number is higher than a six it should be used with careful discretation and in moderation. Slowly they are admitting it is unsafe. Most of canada and many european nations have banned BPA in plastics that people eat or drink out of.
The same chemical is a popular fire retardant that they use in cribs, pillows, and thousands of other items.
Sudden infant death syndrome anyone?
Yep, the criminal corporations and their government puppetdents are killing us younger and younger all the time.
If you happen to be an "Innocence Theorist" that can't even see the dots let alone connect them you need to grow up and start living life instead of just growing old staring at the TV getting programmed
Because the FDA won't admit anything until a lot of people suffer. Many european and a good chunk of canada have banned the use of the product several years ago. I am waiting for the day our "leaders" in the us actually start giving a crap about something besides a paycheck
This is hardly a surprise to me - I've always avoided using plastic for food storage just because things stored in it have a "plastic" taste afterwards - especially after heating. Glass and iron (and some other metals except aluminum) are much better and safer containers for just about everthing. Makes you wonder just how many mundane things we use every day are contributing to higher disease rates. 8-[
anything stored in plastic and left in heat ,does cause a chemiacl reaction....worst one is your humble gladwrap <<extremely bad for childrens school lunches...That would be the plastic on a roll one wraps sandwhiches on
My mom had "terminal" breast cancer!. Horrible are the treatments the doctors prescribed! That did more harm than good! Where is the progress?! Different drugs, same torture! Death is expensive! They want to charge us all the way! In death we pay! How much for our livers, hearts, kidneys, and livelihoods!? "Donated" organs iced in a pale, waiting for the sale...
tghis is really imformative and enlightening,i'm glad i dont have breast(kidding)..well i will tell that to my big sisters..theyre all have ..big ones..lol just kiddin..great share..thanks cabbitness
One of the problems of breast cancer occuring in women without a history of cancer in their family is the finding of estrogens from birth control pills in city and towns water supplies. See-
Contraception the environment -- Birth-control poisoning of streams leave U.S. environmentalists mum
ALSO SCARY Scientists in western Washington found that synthetic estrogen -- a common ingredient in oral contraceptives -- drastically reduces the fertility of male rainbow trout.
Thank you Jack for sharing this video. Gosh!! I've done this several times...leaving my bottled water in the car only to drink it later after the sun had warmed it...I will stop this practice immediately.
Thet take birth control pills in OZ- the filters used to filter city water into bottled water do not filter out estrogen -- a common ingredient in oral contraceptives and now though to be the main cause of breast cancer. Better rethink on passing.
You know, I find this very interesting, as I've work with electronics that tend to "warm up" from electricity & they emit a melting smell that messes with my head sometimes, I've told people about this & many say they never noticed the effects.
I have heard similar before, on reuse of water bottles because of the chemical in the plastic and to look for the code on the bottom of the bottle, also certain baby bottles. anyway, I am just wondering, how do these bottles get to us,shipped by truck, boat, etc.,stored in wharehouses, all just as hot as a car? Wonder if we should find a new method! Thanks for the share. Your Friend, Lyon Danebridge
We have the country's (USA) highest incidents of breast cancer here in my county, and everyone here drinks bottled water. I think I'd better call the people who are doing a breast cancer study here if they know about this. Thanks for the message!
We must certainly inform the good ladies from Adelaide whom drink lots of plastic bottled water not to drink what is left in the car. Thank you for sharing this very imprtant public service message by way of a wonderfully creative animated video presentation.
