In Bangladesh the problems of discrimination against women still exist. Still violence against women and other forms of harassement have not stopped. I know personally that in an Islamic Wedding certificate (called Nikah), there must be two men witnesses; women are not allowed to be witnesses. And in Saudi Arabia-they are very extreme; women can't drive, women can't be in the presence of men other than husband alone, and women must cover up or be ridiculed. In other countries such as the CITIES in Pakistan, they are more practical, however it still needs some work. But Pakistan had a female prime minister far before any women in USA

That's not actually correct. Male and female are equal in Christianity. Muslim laws are both civil and spiritual always ending in theocracies. There is far more freedom under Christianity because laws are based on precepts from the Bible and instituted at the will of the people. At it's worst, Christianity reflected many of the same flaws found in Muslim controlled countries.
