  • leurn englisch, please.

  • i wish this had subtitles that are syched

  • This looks more artistic than the originals to me :)

  • 20 minute talk about her not catching a floating fucking lightsaber - Star Wars is such a crock of shit.

  • I wonder if the glalxy would eventually would be dominated by just humans. If all other races eventual went extinct because of how us humans being able to populate an area so fast.

  • well done with these movies although I would say it would be nice if you had it in english but its all good.

  • As an avid and knowledgeable fan of the Star Wars Sage I give this two extra thumbs up and don't bother saying that is a physiological impossibility. I am well aware of that but am simply expressing my admiration for these men and women for their commending job that is well done. Epic awesom-tacular!

  • Jedi are supposed to craft there lightsabers using the Force, not tools.

  • @FreakDaMIghet actually only Anakin and Luke were two of the few ever known to craft their sabers in a Force trance (and using the Force.)

  • @jedichick77, But Barriss Offee made hers with the force in the Crystal Cave on Ilum during the Clone Wars. AND in the new Video Game, the Old Republic, EVERY Jedi makes theres only using the force.

  • 10 people have no taste.

  • The real FULL version with no interruption or splits, (with audio and video synced properly) is on youtube now, just go to my channel

  • I think they're speaking Italian since I can understand most of what they're saying. I can speak Spanish so it's pretty close. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

  • Go Go Power Ranger GO GO

  • All Jedi manufactured their own lightsabers to qualify as Jedi Knights they couldn't be elevated from apprentice if they didn't.

  • Yay voices are in sync now!

  • COntrol!

  • Hey, kudos to the guys in the props department for this fan film, I totally believed the lightsaber assembly - no disassembled toys-r-us junk for this fan film.

  • WOW man this is one of the best fanmade movies :D

  • Wow I can't believe how well shot and edited this movie is. And the acting is incredible! It's miles better than any of the prequels. Who cares if it's in Italian, it's great!

  • great movie!

  • I love how it shows the intracite workings of the Lightsaber :-) very very new and nice

  • where are all the aliens?

  • @sentues you try making those costumes dude.

  • When inthe time line of STar Wars is this sopposed to take place? Im guessing maybe After Luke Skywalker dies somewhere after 137Years after New Hope.

  • @DarkGhost058 Probably 200-300 since 137ABY is the time of Darth Krayt and the New Empire.

  • It's a YT-2000! That's awesome!

  • no thanks. i will take imps over this.

  • I thought that the crystal should be blue itself to generate blue blade, not transparent - that one would generate silver blade.

  • I am happy that sound already matches video in part 2 :)

  • where is luke in all of this? I saw R2 D2

  • @MrDelta01 Luke Skywalker died centuries before this movie.

  • you know a jedi would use the force to build his or her lightsaber

  • @kijodragonfist60 The sith manufactured there lightsabers i think

  • this is NOT a JEDI Costume,

  • this looks really professional for a fan film

  • @DamianRavenblood isnt that how all fan films should be?

  • If this production team has more budget money and plays it down to earth, it just might be possible the Italians could do up Star Wars the way the late Italian director Sergio Leone reimagined the western movies in the mid to late 60s.

  • Spaghetti Sci Fi?

    I like it!

  • Why that?

  • Well, for one thing those old spaghetti westerns were great...I'd love to see just a bit of that feel brought into the Star Wars Universe....and although I have yet to watch THIS film all the way through (I will I just discovered it, and have not had the time yet) what I HAVE seen of it looks very, very good. So...yeah...I could see something like this breathing new life into the series....it would be great if they could get the liscensing and funding to REALLY pull it off!

  • I understand that- I watched a documentary on IFC about the Italian style movies on the westerns that seem to explode in the mid 1960s expressing dismay at the 'Spaghetti' term, I happen to agree with the sentiment about disliking it. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, this Resurrection, is a hint of an approach that may actually work , of course, with a lot of pros and cons to it, but definitely freed from Lucas' sorrowful prequels. The man is not the same as he was 30 years prior.

  • Hmmm I always liked the "Spaghetti" term....then again I have always liked spaghetti in all its forms...be it pasta or western...LOL! Seriously though, I never even realized some took offense to that term when speaking of the Italian Westerns....Maybe I will think twice about using it in the future....actually right now all I can think about is food...all this spaghetti talk is making me feel starved !!! LOL!

  • Yeah, the Italian directors and people involved in those 1960s made movies took offense (get a chance to watch the documentary, it's on dvd, anyhow now)

  • You dont happen to know the name of the documentary do ya? (you said you watched it on IFC....if it was on there recently I can probably find it)

  • I watched it during the last year of my residing in Las Vegas around 2005 or 2006 on cable television but I think it's called The Spaghetti Westerns, it's a little over an hour long, I think.

  • Cool...I will keep an eye out for it.

  • It's in the legacy era

  • I can answer one of those questions,,, it says at the beginning of part 1 that "for many centuries after the destruction of the empire, the force remained in balance." So this storyline takes place hundreds of years after Return of the Jedi.

  • Thanks!

  • I love the part about the light sabber.

  • Ma quant'è bona....

  • She's Hot! The hottest Star Wars chick I've seen. lol

  • Pssh Amy Allen, btw anyonw know if that thing at 6:00 that comes out of the ground is a plant or alien?

  • @Uriah081 Le ragazze italiani e molte belle.

  • whats with r2d2 in the movie

  • its a astromech droid

    not r2d2 ^^

  • see, its proof on why we should employ foreign workers. If this was a british or american video, it would suck balls

  • i agree

  • its alright its not that good.

  • i'm like 5 minutes into this and already i'm like: wow, this is vastly superior to episodes 1 and 2. weird, huh?

  • lets see your star wars movie

  • It will never need more work, It is as perfect as an actual George Lucas movie. The Effects? Perfect. Storyline? Perfect. Budget? Perfectly Fine as it is. Actors? The greatest in every way, Perfect. Bravissimo To Marcella Braga and the rest.

  • totaly agree, they should get a chance to make a full motion picture

  • what is that? Italian?

  • yes

  • @goodmorninguk1 yes its italian

  • jedi do not need to fuse their weapons together

  • Yeah, And they also don,t need middichlorians In their blood, or virgin births and those things came from the fucking creator of starwars

  • For anybody that has trouble viewing this just click the 0:01 in this comment. Just helping out.

  • was that our old r2d2?

  • i thought legacy currently takes place in 137 aby real fucking balanced

  • The atmosphere is so... italian...so latin... I like it. :)

  • I think this film could do well if it had a theatrical release either in Italy or here in the U.S.

This is one of the few Star Wars fan films that actually got me leaping out of my chair with applause.

Seriously, this film should have a theatrical release. If they released it here in the U.S., I would definitely go see it.

  • I dont think this is supposed to take place in the Old Republic. on wikipedia it says "The story begins a few centuries after Episode VI, telling about a young Jedi apprentice who lives in a period of great changes in the balance of the force and galaxy."

  • Comment removed

  • a few Centuries? rofl The Empire owns the Galaxy after 120 years. an that's the end of the story.

  • umm no its not, the story is so large now due to games comics and tv series, it is way bigger.

  • simply amazing 6/5

  • Bellissimo, complimenti sinceri! Mi piace l'idea che siano stati italiani come me ad ideare un così bel film alla saga fantascientifica più bella di sempre! CHE LA FORZA SIA CON VOI!

  • Zui Mar is cool (Hope's master)

  • Holy crap, this movie is so much more better than I ever thought possible. Absolutely incredible! Very well put together, I'm very envious. I wish all Star Wars movies were more like this. Giving each character depth and individuality. Very very awesome.

  • Sorran lightsaber force wave is really strong in poart one cool movie

  • dude i love the saber hilt. :] you guys rock. this is such an amazing film.

  • This is extremely well made to point out the obvious. Seeing a lightsaber being built was really cool. And while I DID notice a "Lord of the Rings" vibe, I did'nt mind it cause I like them too(But Star Wars is definitely my favorite). I'm going all the way with it now and moving on to part three!

  • Whats with the fetus?

  • Complimenti Davvero è Il Film Piu Bello Diretto Da Italiani Che Io Abbia Mai Visto Non Vedo L'ora Che Esca La 2° Parte...(La Settimana Prossima Mi Arriva Il Costume Da Sith Che Ho Comprato Dallo Stesso Che Ha Fatto I Vestiti Per Voi :-P Complimenti Ancora Una Volta Do Il Voto Massimo Dovrebbero Passarlo Al Cinema A Mio Parere Un Saluto. By Darth Landor

  • This is better than the recent crappy movies... Focus on the Jedi's Lucas you nob! Hes rubbish.. this IS what starwars should be...

  • only humans

    everyone is serious

    too lord of the dings

the story line was a bit... scrambled...

I couldn't quite figure out what the plot was.

but the fact that there was an independantly created star wars movie that has excellent FX and very decent acting, is pretty darn awesome just in the fact that it happened.

  • You're wrong on it being the worst thing, cuz it has a preety decent production with nice compositing and 3d development, but you're right on one thing, its more medievalish/LOTR than SW.

  • Er.. I nearly know every thing about Star Wars. And I have also Read all the Books. And in the Old Republic They wore Clothes like that.. Even more Medi Elvish. So Your the Wrong one Mate.

  • There were already Alien Jedi during the Old Republic, not just that, there have ALWAYS been alien jedi, I didnt critiziced the clothes, I critiziced the aspect of the film.

There were also preety bad mistakes, like the PC common Keyboard inside the ship and having that Missile that looks exactly like the already existing ones other than a missile from the future.

  • I doubt you knoe EVERYTHING

  • he did say "nearly know every thing".

  • I already know that.

  • the only problem is that it only had humans. the star wars galaxy has a variety of species in it's jedi council alone. still great though 4/5.

  • I likey!!!

  • Wow, white Lightsaber, if you played the game KotOR then you might know that there was a sith lord who's apprentice's used only white lightsabers, well anyway it doesn't really matter what kind of lightsaber you have but in kotOR the white crystal was a "rare" from a planet that was destroyed I wonder if they found another mine to get the material for it...

  • Very nice!

  • Hope can feel/take my lightsaber anytime

  • Very good job. Movies of this scope should not have been made till 2020.

  • i wanna buy the dvd lol make a dvd please ^_^!! get a deal with a dvd company seriously

  • This shit deserved an oscar =)

  • Not so far, but its a preety good production.

  • I am very impressed. The acting is acctually good. Very good. Give these guys a budget and set them loose. I like this better than the movies.

  • This should be on TV!! MAN THIS IS GOOD! The attention to detail is amazing -- and the effects beat those in the Star Wars movies so far! This is fast becoming my favorite Star Wars Fan Film. 5/5

  • "the effects beat those in the Star Wars movies so far!"

    your kidding, right?

  • I guess he didn't mean the prequel trilogy just the original IV V VI :)

  • haha, must have been that :p

  • this should be a actual movie holy shit man!!!!!

  • The video was well put together..

We have to remember that this film was put together by fans and not movie producers.

There are few fan films that can compete with this one. 5 stars!!

  • I feel so compelled to agree. This was a well thought out story! :) (I do wish it had other alien races besides humans) Still, this was good storytelling.

  • ah never mind my comment about it being a YT-1300 just saw it

  • ah never mind my comment about it being a YT-1300 just saw it

  • Love the LightSaber DIY intro. I need that Crystal ha, ha. Cool!

The cinematography in the mountain is not so good buy the rest is ok! Most of the green screen is my favorite; good cinematography there..

    Great job!

  • that ship looks like the millenium falcon

  • it is a corellian corvette, but it is not the falcon:)

  • Actually it's not a Corellian Corvette, such as the one seen in the beginning of Episode IV. It is, however, a Corellian Engineering Systems YT class freighter...released as the first with shields and Ion defense weapondry included in the stock factory run of the craft.

  • damn...and i thougt i was a star wars geek:=) hehe. you know your stuff man:=)

  • Hehe...I'll go one better. It's technically a YT-2000 made famous in the LucasArts (and it's one of my favorite of all time) game X-Wing Alliance. It's named "Otana".

    And thanks :) SW-Geek Girl 4 lyfe!
