We have been told not to carry our SS card because the number could get stolen. So if this is passed will you need to carry your SS # with you to show your identification? So every time you have to prove who you are, you also will be showing them your SS# to them as well. This doesn't solve the problem of identity theft, it only replaces the Real ID.

The SS# is still on the new card! So what is stopping anyone from taking that number and using it to get other information about you?
We have been told not to carry our SS card because the number could get stolen. So if this is passed will you need to carry your SS # with you to show your identification? So every time you have to prove who you are, you also will be showing them your SS# to them as well. This doesn't solve the problem of identity theft, it only replaces the Real ID.

Sounds like our government wants to add a ton more money to our national debt. Of course they can steal the money from our Social Security pension fund like they always do and then say there is not enough money in the fund to honor promises to our seniors. More bureaucracy, more threats to our liberties, more government, more politics as usual.

I was at work today talking about how funny it was that we are 13 trill in debt, yet bush signed the stimulus package, putting us even more in debt.
My co-worker said that the national debt was only a conspiracy stating that we print our own money, so it is impossible when we control the printing press. Can you believe that people are so ignorant??? Smart guy, but truely misguided...

If the card is the problem, abolish the card. I do not need a social security card anyway. It is a tracking tool for the Government parasites. This is a clear way to implement a new tracking system which only is going to lead to chip implants in your body, then a cashless society and you will be under full control of the New World Order. Also be aware that there is legislation to control ammunition that they also want serial numbered, and you will be responsible for it for all eternity.

Social security cards were NOT meant to be indentifcation cards nor should they be. This program would put all your info in one place making it easier to obtain all your info and steal your identity completely. Being required to get one at sixteen will also artificially boost the numbers of people in the SS program so they can rob more out of it as the government has done for many years. The only protection we need is from the governmental thieves robbing our retirement. Not just no but hell no!
