I volunteer at an animal shelter 4 days a week, have saved lives, helped my mother through her 14 cancer surgeries, and give money to charity nearly as often as I put it in my savings account. @ykastenable Obviously not as I really don't care about anyone else's religion in that I think they are wrong, and because I really don't have to know everything about every religion. To me learning about other religions that I don't really care about is a waste of time. But I do know what the religion is. It's a branch off of Christianity that adds to the Bible and puts it into a book that contradicts itself like a million times.

I volunteer at an animal shelter 4 days a week, have saved lives, helped my mother through her 14 cancer surgeries, and give money to charity nearly as often as I put it in my savings account. If I wasn't here, I can honestly say quite a few people and animals would be worse off. My life has meaning. Does yours?

@horseanimal11 How do you do this? My father has cheated on my mother and then he left. I sometimes hear her and my brother cry. I try to help but it somehow affects me. I mean did he left us because of me? Did I cause the problems? I don't know and it kills me. It seems like my life had a meaning but now it doesn't. It's just an endless road of pain. I respect you for what you have achieved and you are a true hero to me.

This is really a great song. I like the description, even though I;m Catholic, because in the end we all worship one God and adhere to one idea of love and love to one another, however everyone is different and we simply have a lot of different ways of worshipping Him and honoring Him, and we have different names for Him, but in the end isn't the general idea of love the same? That's the way I view religion and humanity. All we need is some love!

And I am "one of those people" who if I do not see something, I do not believe. I fall under the category of reality based thinkers, there are also people who are magical thinkers.
