Hi, very nice machine :-) We are also building a small plasma cutter (1000x1000mm) with emc2 and steppers. (THC will be done by EMC2 itself via the THC component and some electronics for converting voltage to frequency) The only remaining question for us is which torch to use. We have a China cutter but I think we need a better torch. What torch do you recommend and how high are the costs over time? Many thanks from Germany :-)
hi woodtechSA, very nice machine! May I ask what cnc control software the machine is using? It works with Sound Logic's THC 300? That program doesn't look at all like Mach 3.

@ascalise . Running LinuxCNC's EMC2 (opensource). Been cutting over a year now with great results. Yes it is the THC300
