@dancinchick9 In our dance group we aren't allowed to wear anything, you have to dance barefoot. Spinsa are really dificult because you're foot seems to stick on the floor, but if you do it regularly enough your feet kinda get used to it and it doesn't affect the skin on your foot so much. I still get floor burns when we do floorwork though!

And I don't think you have the right to criticise someone speaking English as their second language when your comments are littered with spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes and English is your first language. And as your "mistype" proves, no one's perfect.

I think the girl in purple with the socks on should really take the socks off. She's falling out of allot of her turns and I think it would look cleaner if she was bare foot. I know turning on socks is easier but I think she could make her turns cleaner :) the dance is still amazing regardless!

white shirt did good, for the dance she did. i didnt like this dance. no one changed the position there in they all stayed in the same spots, too much hair flipping, the parts when you need to be fast are to slow, and just the entire dance is off beat when the girls arent all connecting and moving at the same moment. it definantly needs more work.

@achan81997 I wouldn't call this contemporary dance. I mean, it's really good, don't get me wrong, these girls are amazing, but I would say that this is lyrical Jazz, contemporary is more ballet based, and, I suppose less commercial than this, though as I say, the dancers in this are fantastic :-)

@thisis186 it has traits of lyrical jazz and other styles, but each move is different, new, and unique, involving many different styles. which is the point/meaning of contempory dance. however a less commercial stance would have been better.

but yes, every dancer is utterly fantastic and it's a wonderful piece :)

@grifhinx @grifhinx well none of the girls have good extension and their points are horrible. they aren't always in sync with eachother or the music count. they dont jump high enough. they dont have emotion, they are flinging themselves across the floor. they all keep slipping, good dancers stay balanced. when one in the white attempts the fouette she moves around and youre supposed to stay still and actually stick your landing. so i guess its in terms of that.

Basically choreography is great, but the hair flying around lets it down, if you pay attention to what the body is doing then its really quite impressive, but if you let yourself get distracted then it looks a bit cheap.
